INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION FIELD The present invention relates to a polyvinyl chloride thin film treated with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer release treatment agent and suitable as a surface protection material, a base material in an adhesive tape, a release tape, etc. Conventional technologies and problems Conventionally, silicone-based or polyvinyl alcohol-long chain alkyl isocyanate-based release agents have been used as surface protection materials for the purpose of protecting stainless steel plates, etc., as base materials for adhesive tapes, or as release tapes. Thin sheets of processed polyvinyl chloride have been known. However, in the case of polyvinyl chloride thin sheets treated with these releasable treatment agents, the releasable treated film has poor adhesion to the polyvinyl chloride and easily falls off, for example, when rolled up of surface protection material. When peeling off the adhesive layer stuck to the releasably treated surface, such as when unwinding, there was a problem that the releasably treated film was transferred from the polyvinyl chloride side to the adhesive side. Transfer of the releasable treated film to the pressure-sensitive adhesive side causes a decrease in the adhesive strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface. In addition,
In the case of a surface protection material, the adherend will be contaminated by residual transfer material, and a removal step will be required, reducing work efficiency. Therefore, efforts are currently being made to prevent contamination by minimizing the amount of stripping treatment agent used, but this has not yet been a satisfactory solution. Means for Solving the Problems The present inventors aimed to overcome the above-mentioned problem of shedding as a transfer phenomenon and to develop a polyvinyl chloride thin film having a peelable treated film in a practically satisfactory adhesive state. As a result of extensive research, it was discovered that the object could be achieved by using a stripping agent made by blending an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin with other stripping agents. I've reached it. That is, the present invention provides a thin film of polyvinyl chloride, which is treated with a releasable treatment agent obtained by blending an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin with another type of releasable treatment agent. be. The releasable treatment agent used in the present invention is a mixture of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin and other releasable treatment agents. As the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, one having a vinyl acetate content of 12 to 65% by weight and a melt index of 1 to 50 g/10 min is suitable. If the vinyl acetate content is less than 12% by weight, the adhesion of polyvinyl chloride to the thin film may be insufficient and the releasable treated film may fall off, and if it exceeds 65% by weight, the releasability will be insufficient. . In addition, if the vinyl acetate content is outside the above range, the releasable treated film obtained will have poor ability to follow the elongation (usually 3 to 10%) of thin sheets of polyvinyl chloride, especially soft polyvinyl chloride. It may fall off. Note that the higher the vinyl acetate content, the better the adhesive force can be for thin sheets of soft polyvinyl chloride.
On the other hand, a melt index outside the above range is unfavorable in terms of coating properties or the strength of the peelable treated film formed. Other types of releasable treatment agents to be added to the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin include those based on polyvinyl alcohol-long chain alkyl isocyanate. This is, for example, a method of saponifying the reaction product of polyvinyl alcohol and long-chain alkyl isocyanate (Japanese Patent Application No.
227243) etc. When the purpose is to improve the releasability, the amount of other releasability treatment agents is ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin.
5 to 30 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight is suitable. If the blending amount is less than 5 parts by weight, the blending effect (improvement of release properties) will be poor, and if it exceeds 30 parts by weight, the binder effect of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin will be relative to other types of release processing agents. The adhesive strength of polyvinyl chloride to the thin film material decreases.
Mainly, the phenomenon of detachment of other types of releasable treatment agents is observed. Therefore, in the case of a surface protection material, it causes contamination of the adherend. In the present invention, the polyvinyl chloride thin film used is one that is used as a base material for surface protection materials, adhesive tapes, release tapes, and the like. Generally, a tape, film, or sheet with a thickness of 5 mm or less is used. The polyvinyl chloride thin film may be composed only of polyvinyl chloride, or may be a laminate or a composite such as a laminate of polyvinyl chloride thin films. Note that the layer thickness of the releasable treatment agent provided on the polyvinyl chloride thin film body may be the usual thickness. Although the releasably treated polyvinyl chloride thin film of the present invention exhibits excellent releasability to acrylic adhesives, applicable adhesives are not limited thereto. Incidentally, the surface protection material and adhesive tape according to the present invention which have a thin film of polyvinyl chloride as a base material have an adhesive layer provided on such a base material, but the formation thereof can be carried out by a conventional method. can. Effects of the Invention The thin film made of polyvinyl chloride of the present invention has a releasable treated film that exhibits weak adhesion to the adhesive surface and exhibits excellent releasability. It exhibits strong adhesion to the body and has excellent adhesion. As a result, transfer to the adhesive layer due to detachment of the releasable treated film from the thin film body and a decrease in the adhesive strength of the adhesive surface are effectively prevented, and in the case of surface protection materials, contamination of the adherend is effectively prevented. is prevented. In addition, it is possible to write characters on the peelable treated film, and it has good printing properties. In addition, the removable treated film has a large coefficient of friction and is difficult to slip, and when used as a surface protection material, it has the advantage of allowing stable stacking of adherends such as stainless steel plates and providing excellent storage safety. There is. Example Vinyl acetate content 45% by weight, melt index
40g/10min ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin
A stripping agent (1% by weight toluene solution) is prepared by mixing 100 parts by weight with 20 parts by weight of a polyvinyl alcohol-long chain alkyl isocyanate stripping agent, and this is applied to a polyethylene film with a thickness of 120 μm and a width of 100 mm. The amount of solids applied on one side of the vinyl chloride film is
A releasable treated tape was prepared by uniformly applying the coating to a concentration of 0.2 g/m 2 and drying it. The polyvinyl alcohol-long chain alkyl isocyanate stripping agent is a reaction product of 100 parts by weight of polyvinyl alcohol with a degree of polymerization of 1400 and a degree of saponification of 88% and 580 parts by weight of octadecyl isocyanate (hydroxyl group content of 1% or less). It consists of Comparative Example 1 A releasably treated tape was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1, except that a releasable agent based on ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin alone was used instead of a polyvinyl alcohol-long-chain alkyl isocyanate-based releasable agent. Created. Comparative Example 2 A releasable treated tape was prepared in accordance with Example 1, except that a polyvinyl alcohol-long chain alkyl isocyanate-based releasable treatment agent was used alone. Comparative Example 3 A releasably treated tape was prepared in accordance with Example 1, except that a releasably treated agent consisting of an addition type silicone emulsion was used. Evaluation Test The following tests were conducted on the peelable treated tapes obtained in Examples and Comparative Examples. The results are shown in the table. [Peeling force] A polyester adhesive tape with an acrylic adhesive layer (No.
31B (manufactured by Nitto Denko Corporation) through its releasable treated surface and then held at 20℃ for 24 hours, the 180 degree peel value (20℃, tensile speed 300
mm/min) was measured. [Non-shedding] 10 times with felt loaded with a load of 20g/ cm2
After reciprocating, the peeling force was measured on the peelable treated surface in the same manner as above, and the case where the peeling force increased was evaluated as ×, and the other cases were evaluated as ○. [Printability] Write characters on the removable treated surface with an oil-based ballpoint pen or a water-based ballpoint pen, and visually judge the clarity of the characters. If the characters are sufficiently legible, rate them as 〇, otherwise, rate them as ×. did.
