Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify coating process and obtain a Japanese lacquer decorative board which appears superior qualitatively and as a high-class product with an attractive design at low cost by applying bast fiber fabric and Japanese lacquer film in that order through a colored sheet on a base. CONSTITUTION:A Japanese lacquer cloth-applied board consists of bast fiber fabrics 8 and Japanese lacquer film 9 applied, in that order, to a base 6 which is composed of appropriate material such as fiber board or particle board, through a colored sheet 7. In addition, a veneer 10 is arranged on the spine of the base, if necessary. A dap can be inserted between the base 6 and the colored sheet 7. The recommended base 6 is middle density fiber board(MDF). The colored sheet 7 is used after its material such as Japanese paper or any other appropriate paper is stained in the same color as the Japanese lacquer film 9. The Japanese lacquer film 9 is finished by blending Japanese lacquer and urethane or polyester resin to form a film. This film is thermally pressed on the surface of bast fiber fabrics 8 for lamination.

(Prior Art) Many lacquer products with excellent durability and deep texture have been known for use as furniture, tableware, and other wood products. These lacquer products are made by applying lacquer coating to the surface of wooden materials, and the method for applying the lacquer is a traditional craft that involves over 40 steps of base finishing, intermediate coating, and then top coating. A method of lacquering is known.

In this way, there are various methods of lacquer coating, such as colored or transparent lacquer coating, and these lacquer coatings create a deep texture due to the translucence of the coating film that has been applied over and over again. The feature is that there is no change in the mirror surface due to the aging process.

Regarding the lacquer cloth board (2) of the present invention that can be used as such a lacquer decorative board (1), for example, as shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG. 3, which is an enlarged partial cross-section B of FIG. 2, Linen fabric (8) and lacquer film (9) are sequentially arranged on a base material (6) made of a suitable material such as fiberboard (particle hoard) through colored paper (7), and as necessary. It can be formed by arranging a projecting plate (10) on the back surface of the base material (6). Base material (6)

The colored paper (7) is Japanese paper or other appropriate paper, preferably colored in a similar color to the lacquer film (9). By doing so, fading can be more effectively prevented. As the coloring agent, natural or synthetic ones can be used as appropriate. In addition, for pasting, a urethane-based adhesive, a polyester-based adhesive, or the like is used, and the pasting is performed by a vacuum press, a flat plate press, or the like.

Furthermore, by using the lacquer film (9), the texture of the slope can be achieved through a simple process on an industrial scale and at low cost. This lacquer film (9) may be a conventionally known lacquer, or a film formed by blending this with a resin such as urethane or polyester resin. This can be laminated by placing it on the surface of the linen fabric (8) and applying heat and pressure. Alternatively, the lacquer film (9) may be formed into a film by applying lacquer or a resin blend thereof to the surface of the hemp fabric (8).

For the lacquered frame (3) shown in Figures 1 and 2, use a suitable base material such as fiberboard, attach a backer to this fiberboard, and cut it out to the specified dimensions. It can be manufactured by forming a frame body, then applying urethane sealer treatment, enamel/or clear coating, and further lacquer coating. This forms a glossy lacquer coating on the surface of the backer.

Alternatively, the frame may be completed by pasting the backer on the fiber hoard, applying the lacquer as described above, and then hollowing out the material. In either of these cases,
There are no particular limitations on the materials for the fiberboard and backer; for example, in the case of furniture doors, MDF with a thickness of about 5 to 30 mm can be used, and a backer with a thickness of about 0.2 to 1 mm can be used. It is preferable to match.

In the case of such a lacquered frame, since there are no seams on the surface due to adhesives or the like, problems such as peeling or fading of the paint film at these seams do not occur. Moreover, since the core material is made of homogeneous fibers, its shape does not change due to dryness, humidity, cold, heat, etc. (and even if it changes due to bonding of the backer, it will not affect the surface of the lacquer coating.

In fact, the lacquered board of this invention uses medium density fiber hoard (MDF) with a thickness of 10 mm as a base material, and dark brown colored paper is attached to this using an adhesive using a vacuum press, and then a hemp fabric and a lacquer film are used. (dark brown), a high-quality lacquered board with excellent weather resistance and no fading over time was obtained.
