(Prior Art) Conventionally, the waterproof structure of a camera has a gasket 4 on the end surface of the camera case 2, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7.
A front cover 6 is attached through the front cover 6, and its outer periphery is covered with a rubber waterproof cover 12, and then a wire material such as a wire 10 is wrapped around it and tightly tightened. Patsukin 4
A groove 10 for attaching the glass 8 is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the camera case 2, and a screw hole (not shown) is provided at each corner of the gasket 4 for fixing the front cover 6 to the camera case 2 with screws. It is provided. The front cover 6 is fixed to the camera case 2 with screws after a gasket 4 having a glass 8 attached to its inner surface is fitted.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) When the front cover 6 is fixed to the camera case 2 with screws, the gasket 4 is compressed in the longitudinal direction of the camera case 2, and as shown in FIG. There was a problem with it deforming inward. If the outer shape of the glass 8 attached to the gasket 4 is formed to a size that covers almost the entire end surface of the camera case 2, the groove 10 of the gasket 4 will tightly adhere to the circumferential surface of the glass 8, so that the amount of deformation of the gasket 4 will be reduced. becomes smaller. However, such glass must be processed so that the glass 8 does not block the screw holes provided at each corner of the end face of the camera case 2. This glass processing is extremely troublesome, and there are problems in that defective products are likely to occur and mass production is poor. In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, the joint between the camera case 2 and the front lid 6 is covered with a waterproof cover 12, and then a wire material such as a wire 14 is wrapped around it, and then firmly tightened with the tightening tool 16 shown in FIG. There were problems with the number of parts and the number of assembly steps.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a waterproof camera in which a dustproof glass is attached between the front cover and the camera case via a waterproof gasket, and the inner circumference of the gasket is Two grooves are formed on the surface at a predetermined interval in the front and rear, the dust-proof glass is attached to the front groove, and a glass holding plate having an outer diameter larger than the dust-proof glass is attached to the rear groove. The four corners of the glass holding plate are provided with notches in which the parts that overlap with the screw holes of the waterproof gasket are cut out, and the waterproof gasket is provided with a notch that overlaps with the screw hole of the waterproof gasket, and the waterproof gasket is provided with a notch that overlaps with the screw hole of the waterproof gasket. It is characterized by being fixed.

(Example) FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of a waterproof structure in a camera according to the present invention, and FIGS. 2 and 3 show external views of the camera. An image reading device using a solid-state imaging device such as a CCD device is housed in the camera case 20, and a lens body 24 is fixed to the frame 22. The outer periphery of the gasket 26 is formed so as to be in close contact with the inner surface of the front lid 30, and a fitting portion 28 that can be fitted to the end surface of the camera case 20 is formed. A first groove 34 into which the dustproof glass 32 is mounted and a second groove 38 into which the glass holding plate 36 is mounted are formed on the inner periphery of the packing 26.
A screw hole 40 is provided at each corner of the gasket 26, as shown in FIG. 4, and a notch 42 is formed at each corner of the glass holding plate 36, as shown in FIG. A window 44 is formed in the glass holding plate 36, and an image is read through the window 44 through the lens body 24.
