媒として起こる香料等の酸化還元反応による変色である
と考えられるが、いずれにしてもかかる銅化合物の配合

口腔用組成物の変色を防止する手段について鋭意検討を
行なった結果、銅化合物を含有する口腔用組成物に両性
界面活性剤を配合した場合、高温で長期間保存しても変
色がなく、銅化合物による口臭抑制効果が有効に発揮さ

元反応による口腔用組成物の変色が抑制されるためであ

腔用組成物に両性界面活性剤を配合すること、これによ
り銅化合物による変色が抑制されるということは、本発

本発明に係る口腔用組成物は、上述したように、銅化合

ここで、口臭抑制に有効な銅化合物としては、グルコン
酸銅、クエン酸銅、クエン酸銅ナトリウム、ギ酸銅、塩

れ、これらの1種を単独で又は2種以上を組み合せて用
いることができ、このうち有効性及びバインダーの膨潤
性への影響の点からグルコン酸銅が最適である。これら
銅化合物の配合量は、通常組成物全体の0.00001
〜2%(重量%、以下同じ)、特に0.001〜0.5
%が好ましい。一方、両性界面活性剤としては、カルボ
ン酸型(アミノ酢酸型及びベタイン型)、硫酸エステル

ノプロピルスルホン酸等、リン酸エステル型としては、
P−ラウリル−P、P−ジメチルホスホプロピルスルホ
