Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 1)固体高分子からなるイオン交換膜と、このイオン交
換膜に接する面側に電極触媒層を有するアノード電極及
びカソード電極との層状体からなる単位セル複数層が、
前記一対の電極との接触面に反応ガス通路となる複数の
凹溝を有するセパレート板を介して積層されたものにお
いて、前記イオン交換膜及びセパレート板の面積が前記
一対の電極より大きく形成されてなる拡張部分と、この
拡張部分に介装されたパッキングシートと、このパッキ
ングシートを貫通して前記イオン交換膜に接するよう前
記セパレート板側に形成された凹溝を含む導水路とを備
え、この導水路に冷却水を供給するとともに、この冷却
水により前記イオン交換膜を水和させるよう形成してな
ることを特徴とする固体高分子電解質型燃料電池のセル
構造。
