In recent years, rock fishing has become explosively popular as an easy and healthy form of recreation, and artificial rock fishing spots have been set up near cities where fishing spots are scarce. However, the structure of conventional artificial rock fishing spots is mainly made of iron pipes or steel frames. Examples include piers for sea fishing parks, etc. In either case, the appearance does not match the natural landscape, and in addition, fishing from a far distance from the water surface, and fishing from the shore while being in direct contact with seawater etc. The structure made it impossible to enjoy play.

In order to solve the above-mentioned technical problem, the artificial reef of the present invention has a frame made of iron, reinforced concrete, or plastic erected on a concrete base, and the surface of the frame is covered with expanded metal (staggered at regular intervals). A base layer is formed by spraying using a metal plate (metal plate made into a diamond- or tortoise-shaped mesh) or a welded wire mesh and non-woven fabric by making indentations in the shape of a metal plate, pulling it out and spreading it out, or by spraying the base layer with steel fiber reinforcement on the surface of the base layer. Fiber-reinforced mortar spraying involves spraying mortar, inorganic fiber-reinforced mortar, or organic fiber-reinforced mortar to form a layer.

Further, in addition to constructing the frame using iron as shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 2, the framework can also be formed using reinforced concrete or plastic, and its weight can be adjusted as appropriate. Further, the form can be arbitrarily configured, and it is preferable to provide a cave, a pit, a side hole, etc. to resemble a natural rock reef, or to provide a shelf, hole, groove, small gap, etc. on the surface of the pseudo-rock.

When installing the artificial reef of the present invention underwater, it is fixedly installed on the bottom of the water, or fixedly installed on a pedestal erected on the bottom of the water, for example. Normally, the former is used when installing in relatively shallow water with a depth of 3 to 8 meters, and the latter is used when installing in relatively shallow water at a depth of 5 to 8 meters.
This is done when installing in relatively deep water of about 20 m.
