Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は建築物の外装材として用いられる横張
りサイデイングの出隅部を被覆するのに用いる鎧
形出隅およびその製造法に関するものである。 〔従来技術〕 本出願人はさきに、建築物の外装材として用い
られる横張りサイデイングの出隅部を被覆するの
に用いる鎧形出隅およびその製造法(特開昭63−
93958号公報)を開発した。 〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 ところが、上記従来技術は、縦長方形状薄金属
板の縦中央部からその両側縁を背面側へ所要角度
折曲して断面略V字状に形成する手段を、前記縦
長方形状薄金属板の縦中央上方部に、前記薄金属
板の正面から背面側へ向けて折込まれ、かつ前記
薄金属板の背面へ重合される略逆三角形状の折込
み重合部を形成するとともに前記薄金属板の上下
略中間部に位置する水平状の折曲段部およびその
直下の縦中央部に縦長状の所要長さの切開孔と切
込みによる折曲重合用舌片部を設け、さらに前記
薄金属板の下端縁略中央部に水平状折曲縁形成用
切欠部を設け、これら各逆三角形状の折込み重合
部、縦長状切開孔と切込みによる折曲重合用舌片
部、水平状折曲縁形成用切欠部を利用していたた
め、上記薄金属板の折曲時に前記縦長状切開孔お
よび水平状折曲縁形成用切欠部の最頂角部から板
体に亀裂が入り、板割れを生じて該部から雨水の
侵入を招き、外壁材としての機能を低下する惧れ
があつたとともに近年その意匠性(体裁の良さ)、
軽量性、耐蝕性等の諸機能の良さが認められて使
用量が著しく増加しているアルミ板の場合には、
特に従来の亜鉛鉄板、鋼板に比して折曲性に劣る
が故に、これを積極的に用いることができないと
いう問題点があつた。 本発明は上記問題点を解決し、薄金属板が亜鉛
鉄板、鋼板はもとよりのこと、アルミ板のように
折曲性に劣るものであつても板体に亀裂、板割れ
を生じることなく、薄金属板両側縁の縦中央部正
面から背面側への所要角度の折曲を容易に行い得
るとともに折曲角部を鋭角状態(シヤープ)に現
出し得、防水性および意匠的効果の高い、しかも
成型加工の容易な横張りサイデイング用鎧形出隅
およびその製造法を提供することを目的とするも
のである。 〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 本発明は上記目的を達成するため、縦中央部か
らその両側縁を背面側へ所要角度折曲して断面略
V字状に形成した一枚板からなる縦長方形状薄金
属板の縦中央上方部に、前記薄金属板の正面から
背面側へ向けて折込まれ、かつ前記薄金属板の背
面へ重合された略逆三角形状の折込み重合部を形
成して前記折込み重合部の左右の薄金属板面を正
面から背面側へ所要角度をもつて傾斜する傾斜面
となすとともに前記薄金属板の上下略中間部に、
正面から背面側に向け所要巾をもつて略水平状の
折曲段部を形成し、該折曲段部およびその直下に
かけて、円弧状切欠部を最頂角部に有する縦長状
の所要長さの切開孔と切込みによつて形成される
折曲重合用舌片部を前記薄金属板の背面側へ折曲
重合して折曲重合部を形成し、前記折曲重合部の
左右の薄金属板面を正面から背面側に所要角度を
もつて傾斜する傾斜面となし、さらに前記薄金属
板の下端縁略中央部に設けた円弧状切欠部を最頂
角部に有する水平状折曲縁形成用切欠部上縁部か
ら、前記薄金属板の下端縁を背面側に略水平状に
折曲して前記切欠部の舌片部を他方の水平状折曲
縁に重合し水平状折曲縁となしたこと、および一
枚板からなる縦長方形状薄金属板の略中央部に、
円弧状切欠部を最頂角部に有する縦長状の所要長
さの切開孔と切込みによる折曲重合用舌片部を、

に柱19の出隅部において段付き横張りサイデイ
ング18の各端部を被覆するように鎧形出隅本体

する縦長状の切開孔を、また前記薄金属板の下端
略中央部に円弧状切欠部を最頂角部に有する水平
状折曲縁形成用切欠部をそれぞれ設けたことによ
り、前記薄金属板がアルミ板、その他折曲性に劣
る板材であつても、前記切開孔および水平状折曲
縁形成用切欠部の最頂角部から板体に亀裂、板割
れを生じることなく折曲加工を容易かつ確実に行
い得るとともに作業を円滑かつ高能率に行うこと
ができる効果がある。
