Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the above floor material which has appearance harmonious with the modern living space without impairing good quality of wood and also has nonslipping function by applying an adhesive to thin wood chips and performing compression molding therefor to form a flitch and slicing this flitch and sticking the sliced veneer on base material and admixing granule constituted of soft granule or hard granule into a layer applied to the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:Thin wood chips 1 obtained by slicing lumber are treated by chemicals and dried. The thin wood chips 1 are applied with an adhesive and compression molding is performed therefor by a press device 7 to form a flitch 2. This flitch 2 is sliced by a slicing knife 8 to form slide veneer 3. This sliced veneer 3 is stuck on the base material 4. Then coating is performed on the surface of sliced veneer 3 to form a coated layer 5. Granule 6 constituted of soft granule or hard granule is admixed in the coated layer 5. Urethane bead and urethane powder, etc., are utilized as soft granule. Alumina and glass bead, etc., are utilized as hard granule.
