本発明に使用するミクロフイブリル化セルロー

的に増大したものとなり、水分散液の形で得られ
る。すなわち、本発明の接着剤組成物は、CMC
水溶液、ポリ酢酸ビニルエマルジヨン及びミクロ
フイブリル化セルロースの水分散液を混合してな
る組成物であつて、組成物100部に対する固形分
含量の好ましい範囲は、CMC0.5〜5部、ポリ酢
酸ビニル5〜30部、ミクロフイブリル化セルロー

ル化セルロースの大きい保水力により該接着剤の
浸透性は比較的少なく、従つて裏打ちの際に表装
物の表面に接着剤が浸透して汚れる心配がない。
該接着剤を使用する際のもう一つの大きい特長は
裏打乾燥後、該接着剤を多量に塗布された和紙は
不透明であり、和紙特長の白さや風合がそこなわ
れず、裏側から表装物の柄や、書や画が透けて見
えることがほとんどなく、表装物の裏面の仕上り
