折り曲げることによつて両者を分離するのが通例
である。つまり、第6図に示すように、鋳物1に
設けられた余剰部2を治具3によつて受け止めた
状態で該余剰部2に堰部4,4を介してつながる
製品部5,5を押圧装置6によつて上方から押圧
することにより、該製品部5,5を上記堰部4,
4で余剰部2,2から折り取るのである。その場
合に、堰部にV状のノツチを設けて該堰部を折れ
易くする場合がある。しかし、このように曲げ力
だけで余剰部を取り除く場合、第7図に示すよう
に、製品部5の一部の肉5aが余剰部2側に持ち
去られて該製品部5に欠損部が生じることがあ
る。

る斜面部と、該斜面部と上記刃部との間に斜面部
に連続して設けられ、鋳物のセツト時に堰部の下
方に間隔を形成する上面部とを設ける。

による曲げ力が堰部に作用した時に、この引張り
力が集中しているノツチの部分からその方向に沿
つてクラツクが発生して余剰部が折り取られるこ
とになる。この場合に、余剰部は曲げ力と引張り
力との相乗効果によつて折り取られるので、曲げ
力だけで折り取る場合に比べて小さな押圧力で足
りることになる。

が防止され、歩留りが向上することになる。

部15には上下にノツチ15a,15aが対応位
置させて設けられているが、このノツチ15a,
15aを上下に結ぶ断面が堰部15における最小
断面積となる部分であるので、鎖線で示す上下一
対のノツチ15a,15aを結ぶラインXに沿つ
て上記引張り力F3による引張り応力が集中する。
このような状態で更にポンチ型31を下動させれ
ば、該引張り力F3及び上記曲げ力F1が増大して
鋳物10における堰部15の下面のノツチ15a
に先ずクラツクが発生するが、上下のノツチ15
a,15aを結ぶラインXには引張り応力が集中
しているので、クラツクは該ラインXに沿つて成
長することになる。そして、終にはこのラインX
に沿つて余剰部16が製品部14から折り取られ
て抜き型21の落し穴24内に落下することにな
る。このように鋳物10における余剰部16は堰
部15に設けられた上下一対のノツチ15a,1
5aを結ぶラインXに沿つて製品部14から折り
取られるので、製品部14に欠損部分を生じるこ
となく除去されることになる。

セツト時に堰部の下方に間隔を形成する上面部が
設けられていることを特徴とする鋳物の余剰部除
