Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a forged part from flexural deformation arising at a deburring time by forming a thick wall part having nearly the same thickness as the thickness in the cutting direction of the most inclined part in the burred part at another part in a forging time. CONSTITUTION:For one example of the forged part, a knuckle 1 of a vehicle has a burred part 2 on the periphery directly after it is forged. The burred part 2 is composed of flat parts 2a and inclined parts 2b, and the dimension L in the cutting direction is the maximum at an inclined part 2c having a large inclined angle near a spindle 1a. Plural thick wall parts 2d, 2d are formed at parts other than the inclined site 2c in a forging time.
