Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 機体のハウジング側に固定された固定環と、こ
の固定環に弾性的に当接摺動されるように前記機
体のハウジング内に挿通された回転軸側に装着さ
れた回転環とを具備したメカニカルシールにおい
て、 前記回転環の摺動面に環状溝を円周方向に形成
し、この環状溝に臨ませて、前記回転環内に摺動
面側から背面側に至る軸方向に沿つて貫通する第
１の細孔状の連通孔と、この第１の細孔状の連通
孔に互いに隣接して摺動面側から背面側に至る軸
方向に沿つて貫通しないで延びる第２の細孔状の
連通孔とを形成し、かつこの第２の細孔状の連通
孔に、前記回転環の外周部から臨む第３の連通孔
をそれぞれ連通させるとともに、これら第３の連
通孔を前記回転環の回転方向のほぼ接線方向に向
けて斜めに開口させたことを特徴とするメカニカ
ルシール。
