【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は水道用薄肉管継手の補強用筒体に関す

従来の技術とその問題点
第1図、第2図に従来の水道用薄肉管継手の実
施例を示すが、第1図のものは水道用薄肉管(以
後薄肉管と称する)イにナツトロと環ハを遊嵌し
本体ニに薄肉管イを適宜位置まで挿入し、ナツト
ロと本体ニをスパナにより締付け環ハを圧縮して
薄肉管イを圧縮変形させ抜け出しを防止している
また、第2図に示すものは本体ニに薄肉管イを挿
入し、シール用のリングゴムホの設置されている
ヘの部分を油圧機械により圧縮し、トの部分を薄
肉管ニに圧縮絞り込んで抜け出しを防止している
しかしながら、いずれの実施例も寒冷地において
管内の水が凍結した場合、その内部に働く圧力に
より管が本体から抜け出してしまい実用にいたら

本考案は、水道用薄肉管の内径にほぼ等しい外
径をもつ筒体と、該筒体の外周面に環状凹部を設

径とほぼ等しい外径の鍔部を設けてなる水道用薄
肉管継手の補強用筒体で、薄肉管の端部に該補強
用筒体を挿入すると、鍔部が前記薄肉管の端部に
係止されることにより前記端部が補強される。ま
た前記筒体の外周面に設けらた環状凹部は第1第
2図に示す水道用薄肉管継手のように、薄肉管を
圧縮絞り込んだとき絞られた部分が環状凹部には

手からの管の抜け出しを阻止することができ、安
価で構造も簡単な水道用薄肉管継手の補強用筒体
