Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 の１ 本発明は紙巻きタバコ（シカレット〉に関し、特に非タ
バコ燃焼物の円筒体によって取り囲まれ、中央に配置さ
れたタバコ力ラムを有する紙巻きタバコに間するもので
ある． ′　　　の　　　　　　　１ 燃焼物によって取り囲まれた、燃煩せずにニコチン味を
放出する素材からなる内側ロツドを有する喫煙品は、そ
れ自体周知である． 例えば、−１　９　６　６年６月２８日付けでＣ．０．
Ｅｌ１ｉｓ他に発行された米国特許第３，２５８，０１
５号は、タバコが充填された中心のフォイルチューブを
備え、中心チューブがタバコからなる円筒体で取り囲ま
れた喫煙品を間示している．この円筒体が、多孔性の紙
ラッパーによって包まれている．喫煙品の一端に凝集（
核形成）室が位置し、煙を受け入れる． 別の実施例として、１９８７年２月５日付けでＲ．　ｊ
．　Ｒｅｙｎｏｌｄｓ　Ｔｏｂａｃｃｏ　Ｃｏｍｐａｎ
ｙによって出願されたヨーロッパ特許出願第０　２４５
　７３２号は、燃焼速度が二重の燃焼要素を声する喫煙
品を開示している．この燃焼要素は、熱分解された綿繊
維を型成形まｋは押出成形して得た炭素で形成されてい
る．ステンレス鋼製の筒状容器が燃焼要素の中心に配置
され、多孔性炭素、グラファイト、セラミックス，ガラ
ス、アルミナ及び粘土等、熱的に安定な多孔性材が充填
される．筒状容器内の多孔性材は、煙霧形成物質を含む
。中心開口を有するシールが燃焼要素の端部に位置し、
燃煩要素のその端部をシールすると共に、中心間口は筒
状容器と一致している． 筒状部材が中心を貫いて延びた燃焼物力ラムを有する各
種の喫煙品は、以下の各特許に示されている：　　１９

けでＣｈａｎｄｒａκ．　Ｂａｎｅｒｊｅｅ他に発行さ
れた米国特許第４．７１４，０８２号；　　１９Ｂ７年
１２月２９日付けでＯνｏ　Ｌｙｎｎ他に発行された米
国特許第４，７１５，３８９号；及び１９８８年３月２
２日付けでＪａａｅＳＬ．　Ｒｅｓｃｅ他に発行された
米国特許第４，７３２，１６８号．の 本発明は、金属フォイルで取り巻かれた円筒状のタバコ
ロッドと、該ラップされたタバコロフトを取り囲む炭素
燃焼物の円筒体と、該炭素燃焼物円筒体を取り巻く通気
性のあるラッパーと、タバコロッドの一端に同軸状に位
置し、炭素燃焼物円筒体に当接するフィルタプラグとを
有する喫煙品を提供する．ものである． Ｘ嵐立 本発明は、添付の図面を参照した実施例に関する以下の
説明からより明解に理解されよう．第１図を参照すると
、全体を参照番号１０で示した本発明の喫煙品の斜視図
が示してあり、この喫煙品は従来の紙巻きタバコと外観
が類似している． 第１図を引続き参照しつつ、第２図及び第３図も参照す
れば、喫煙品１０はタバコロッド゛ｌ２を備え、金属フ
ォイル（祐）１４がタバコロッド１２の周囲を取り巻い
ている．非タバコ燃焼物の円筒体１６が、金属フォイル
でラップされたタバコロッドｌ２を取り囲み、タバコロ
ッド１２の全長に沿って延びている．燃焼物円筒体１６
は、それを取り巻く通気性のあるラッパ−１８を有する
。
フィルタブラグ２２が燃焼物円筒体１６の一端（吸い口
端）に位置し、吸い口材２４を巻き付けることによって
燃焼物円筒体１６に取り付けられており、吸い口材２４
はフィルタプラグ１８を取り巻くと共に、ラップざれた
燃焼物円筒体１６のフィルタブラグ２２に隣接する端部
と円周方向に沿って一部重なり合っている． タバコロッド１２は、円周が１０ａ＋＋ｓからｌ９■−
の範囲で、１　ｃｍ”当り１００ｍｇから１　ｃａｂ’
当り３００ＩＩ＋８の充填密度であるのが好ましい。
金属フォイル１４は、紙の層１４Ａとアルミニウムの層
１４Ｂとを含む積層体であるのが好ましい．この積層フ
ォイル１４が、アルミニウム層１４Ｂをタバコロッドｌ
２に隣接させた状態で配置される． 非タバコ燃焼物円筒体１６は、例えば炭素布、炭素フェ
ルト、あるいは型成形または押出成形した炭素からなる
炭であるのが好ましい．燃焼物円田体１６の周囲を取り
巻くラッパー１８は通気性があり、不燃性または可燃性
いずれの素材でもよい．取巻ラッパー１８は例えば、不
燃性のセラミックまたは処理の施された紙（処理紙）か
ら作製できる．あるいは、通気性のある、可燃性紙材に
よっても取巻ラッパ−１８を作製可能である．通気，性
のあるラッパー１８が、そこを通って非タバコ燃焼物円
筒体１６へと至る周囲空スの流れを与え、非タバコ燃焼
物の燃焼を支える．第２図に示しｋフィルータブラグ２
２は、非タバコ燃焼物円筒体ｌ６の外周とほぼ同じ外周
を有し、燃煉物円筒体ｌ６と同軸状に配置されている．
フィルタブラグ２２は、非タバコ燃焼物円筒体１６及び
タバコロッド１２の両方と流体連通している．第３図に
示したフィルタブラグ１２２も、非タバコ燃焼物円筒体
ｌ６の外間とほほ同じ外周を有し、燃焼物円筒体ｌ６と
同軸状に配置されているが、フィルタブラグ１２２には
さらに、その中心を同軸状に貫ぬく円筒状の通路２６が
形成されている．この通ｆａ２６はタバコロッド１２の
円周より大きくない円周を有し、通路２６がタバコロッ
ド１２とだけ連通するようになっている。通路２６を備
えたフィルタブラグ１２２が、非タバコ燃焼物円筒体ｌ
６と濱体連通している。
吸い口材２４は通気性がなくてもあってもよく、後者の
場合には、フィルタブラグ２２へと至る周囲空気の流れ
を与え、フィルタブラグ２２を通って流れる煙を希釈す
る． 喫煙品１０の喫煙時、非タバコ燃焼物円筒体１６が燃焼
して燃え、燃焼する非タバコ燃焼物円瀉体１６からの熱
が金属フォイルｌ４を介してタバコロッド１２に伝達さ
れ、タバコロッド１２を加熱する．火のついた状態で一
服すると、タバコａッド１２内のタバコは黒焦げ（炭）
になるだけで、燃焼はしない． 以上の詳細な説明は理解を明確にすることを主目的とし
ており、上記の開示から当業者にとっては変更が自明で
あり、発明の精神または特許請求の範囲を逸脱せずに変
更が可能であるため、不要な制塵として理解されるべき
でない．

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、下記の各項を備えたことを特徴とする紙巻きタバコ
    ： タバコロッド； 前記タバコロッドを取り巻く金属ラッパー：前記金属ラ
    ッパーで包まれたタバコロッドを取り囲む炭素燃焼物の
    円筒体； 前記炭素燃焼物円筒体を取り巻く通気性のあるラッパー
    ： 前記タバコロッドの一端に同軸状に位置し、前記炭素燃
    焼物円筒体に当接するフィルタプラグで、タバコロッド
    と縦方向に一致した貫通孔を有するフィルタプラグ。 ２、前記金属ラッパーがアルミニウムフォイルで作製さ
    れたことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載の紙巻
    きタバコ。 ３、前記アルミニウムフォイルラッパーが紙の層とアル
    ミニウムの層とからなる積層体であり、該アルミニウム
    層が前記タバコロッドに隣接する状態でアルミニウムフ
    ォイルラッパーが配置されたことを特徴とする特許請求
    の範囲第２項記載の紙巻きタバコ。 ４、前記タバコロッドが１０ｍｍから１９ｍｍの範囲の
    円周を有することを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記
    載の紙巻きタバコ。 ５、前記炭素燃焼物円筒体を取り巻く通気性のラッパー
    が不燃性であることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項
    記載の紙巻きタバコ。 ６、前記通気性の不燃性ラッパータが処理紙で作製され
    たことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第５項記載の紙巻き
    タバコ。 ７、前記炭素燃焼物円筒体を取り巻く通気性のラッパー
    が可燃性であることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項
    記載の紙巻きタバコ。 ８、前記炭素燃焼物円筒体を取り巻く通気性のラッパー
    が紙で作製されたことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第８
    項記載の紙巻きタバコ。 ９、前記フィルタプラグが、タバコロッドと同軸状に貫
    いて延び且つタバコロッドの円周より大きくない円周を
    有する円筒状の通路を備えたことを特徴とする特許請求
    の範囲第８項記載の紙巻きタバコ。 １０、前記フィルタプラグを取り巻き、前記ラップされ
    た燃焼物円筒体とフィルタプラグに隣接した端部で円周
    方向に沿って一部重なり合う非通気性の吸い口材をさら
    に備えたことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載の
    紙巻きタバコ。 １１、前記フィルタプラグを取り巻き、前記ラップされ
    た燃焼物円筒体とフィルタプラグに隣接した端部で円周
    方向に沿って一部重なり合う通気性の吸い口材をさらに
    備えたことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載の紙
    巻きタバコ。
