Traditionally, graters used to grate vegetables such as radish and garlic and fruits such as apples have been made by making a large number of claws stand up on the surface of a metal plate. For example, in the case of grating radish, the grated radish is pressed and rubbed against the surface of the grater with the claws formed on the grater. The grater is received by a tray, or by a tray placed on the bottom side of the grater through the openings.Recently, there are also graters made of synthetic resin with a similar structure to the metal grater mentioned above. .

However, the above-mentioned metal grater has the disadvantage that foods such as grated radish are easily discolored due to the influence of metal ions on the grater, and the prongs on the surface of the grater wear out with use. The problem was that it became difficult. In addition, in the case of synthetic resin graters, although there is no problem with discoloration due to metal ions, food odors may stick to the grater, and the claws may wear out and cut less well than metal graters. , it could not be used for a long time.

The grater according to the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and in order to grate food such as radish using this grater, the food such as radish is pressed and rubbed against the surface of the base to produce crushed pieces of ceramics fixed to the surface of the base. The food can be scraped off at the tip corner, allowing the food to be taken down. In addition, since the grater is made of ceramics, there is no risk of food discoloration due to metal ions, and the grater for grating food has a higher hardness than metal graters or synthetic resins. Since crushed ceramic pieces are used, the tip of the crushed pieces will not wear out and become dull, and since the ceramic pieces are fixed with glaze, the adhesion strength is high and the ceramic pieces can be used as a base. It can be used for a long time without falling off.

At the same time, a ceramic base 6 with a recess 3 space formed between it and the raised edge 2 around the substrate as a receiving part for the food after being lowered is dried and bisque-fired around the shelf 5, and this bisque-fired base is 6, in the example, the shelf section 5 as the grate section
On the upper plane 5', a large number of crushed ceramic pieces 7 with sharp corners obtained by crushing unnecessary ceramic products, etc. are placed in a dispersed state over almost the entire surface of the plane 5', and a glaze is applied from above. By glazing the unglazed base 6, or by glazing the bisque-fired base 6 and then placing the ceramic pieces 7 on the flat surface 5' and glazing it, the ceramic pieces 7 are glazed to form a shelf part as a grating part. It is integrally fixed to the upper plane 5'. Further, as a method for fixing the ceramic fragments 7, the ceramic fragments 7 may be glazed in advance and placed on the base.

状となるのである。 In the grater 1 according to the present invention as described above, the base and the grater are made entirely of ceramics, so there is no risk of food discoloration due to metal ions, unlike when using a metal grater. In addition, the shape of the tip corner of the grated part is acute,
Moreover, since it is made of crushed ceramic pieces 7 which have higher hardness and better wear resistance than metals or synthetic resins, they are sharp when grating food, and do not become dull even after repeated use over a long period of time. Not at all. In addition, since the ceramic pieces 7 are adhered to the upper surface 5' of the shelf serving as the grated portion with glaze, the pieces 7 do not fall off from the base body. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 5, the adhesive portion between the crushed ceramic piece 7 and the base surface 6' is
When glazing is applied from above the ceramic fragments 7, or when the ceramic fragments 7 that have been glazed in advance are placed on the base and glazed, the glaze 8 on the surface of the ceramic fragments 7 is glazed, as shown in Fig. 5A. The glaze layer 8' moves downward until the firing is completed and accumulates around the lower part of the ceramic pieces 7, so that the glaze layer 8' at the upper tip 7' of the ceramic pieces 7 is not as thick as the glaze layer 8'. The glaze layer 8'' is thick and has a smooth shape at the boundary between the lower part 7'' of the crushed ceramic piece and the surface 6' of the base. Therefore, when the food is grated, the food does not become clogged between the crushed ceramic pieces 7 and become difficult to grate, and the grater 1 can be easily cleaned after use, making it sanitary. Also, when the crushed ceramic pieces 7 are placed on the base after the glaze has been applied to the base 6, the lower part 7'' of the crushed ceramic pieces 7 is buried in the glaze 8, as shown in FIG. The surface tension of the glaze makes the surface smooth, and the tip 7' of the crushed ceramic piece 7 is not covered with the glaze 8, resulting in an acute-angled shape.

Therefore, the food grated on the upper surface 5' of the shelf serving as the grating section is successively removed from the upper surface 5' of the shelf during the grating operation and quickly reaches the recess 3 serving as the receiving section, so that the food can be efficiently processed. It can be grated well.

選択的に使用することもできるのである。 The particle size of the crushed ceramic pieces adhered to the surface of the base of the grater according to the present invention can be selected as appropriate depending on the food to be used, and the particle size distribution of the crushed ceramic pieces to be used does not necessarily have to be within a certain range. Although it is not necessary to have the same particle size, the preferred particle size of the crushed ceramic pieces differs depending on the food, so it is more preferable to select the particle size appropriately depending on the purpose. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 6, by separating and fixing crushed pieces 7a and 7b with different particle size distributions in different areas A and B of the base surface 6' in a single grater, radish, garlic, etc. It is also possible to selectively use a grated portion with a particle size suitable for each food such as ginger or apple.

る。 Furthermore, the grater according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and for example, the overall shape of the base body is not limited to a circular shape as in the above-mentioned embodiment, and for example, as shown in FIG. It is also possible to have a rectangular shape in plan view or an oval shape as shown in FIG. Part 5
It may be formed only on one side. Also,
It is not always necessary to form a shelf part as the grater part. For example, as shown in FIG. It can be used as a regular plate or bowl at the same time, and in this case, it can save you the trouble of transferring the grated food to another table plate or bowl. . Furthermore, in the above-mentioned grater, the grating part and the receiving part for receiving the grated food do not necessarily have to be integrally molded at the same time, but only the grating part can be molded separately from the receiving part, and the grating part can be molded separately from the receiving part. The grating part may be fixed inside a container having a desired shape as a receiving part. For example, a short cylindrical disk-shaped base is made of ceramics, a grated part is created by fixing crushed pieces of ceramic to the surface of the base with glaze, and this is placed in a container as a receiving part for a plate or the like. It may also be configured as a grater by being fixed. In order to fix the grated portion inside the container, for example, a dish container is made of ceramics, and when the container is fired, the grated portion is fixed together with or without using an appropriate adhesive. You can. Furthermore, instead of integrally fixing crushed ceramic pieces to the surface of the base body with glaze as described above, the grate part may be formed by integrally molding a large number of protrusions on the surface of the disk-shaped base body using ceramics, for example. It can also be molded as

As mentioned above, since the grater according to the present invention is made of ceramics, it is possible to grate delicious food without the risk of discoloration of the food due to metal ions, unlike with conventional graters. The grater has sharp corners and sharp edges, and is made of crushed ceramic pieces that are harder and more wear-resistant than metal graters or synthetic resin graters, so they can last for a long time. Even after repeated use over a period of time, the sharpness will not dull, and since the ceramic fragments are fixed to the substrate by glazing together with the substrate, the ceramic fragments will not fall off from the substrate. Furthermore, the shape of the adhesive part between the crushed ceramic pieces and the surface of the base is such that the glaze applied over the crushed pieces in order to bond the crushed ceramic pieces to the base is glazed in a state where it accumulates around the lower part of the crushed ceramic pieces. baked,
Furthermore, when crushed ceramic pieces are placed on a glazed substrate, the lower part of the crushed ceramic pieces is buried in the glaze and fixed, so the layer of glaze is relatively thin or thin on the upper part of the crushed ceramic pieces. There is no glaze layer and the tips of the crushed pieces have an acute shape, which helps sharpen food products, and the bottom of the crushed ceramic pieces has a thick layer of glaze at the boundary with the base surface, giving it a smooth shape. Therefore, when the food is grated, the food does not become clogged between the crushed ceramic pieces and the sharpness is not dulled, and the grater can be easily cleaned after use, making it possible to provide a sanitary grater.
