    駐車装置において、車両搬送具の正常時の通過軌
    跡から僅かに外れた位置に、機械式駐車装置の駆
    動を停止するよう構成した車両搬送具故障検出セ
    ンサを設けたことを特徴とする機械式駐車装置の
    安全装置。 ２ 機械式駐車装置が垂直循環式であり、車両搬
    送具故障検出センサが、上部折返し部における、
    車両搬送具の上下の折返し点間を結ぶ線上の近傍
    で、車両搬送具下部の通過軌跡の直下位置に設け
    られた請求項１記載の機械式駐車装置の安全装置
    。 ３ 機械式駐車装置が地下式であり、車両搬送具
    故障検出センサが地下本体装置部の入口上部に設
    けられた請求項１記載の機械式駐車装置の安全装
    置。 ４ 車両搬送具故障検出センサが触覚線である請
    求項１記載の機械式駐車装置の安全装置。 ５ 車両搬送具故障検出センサが光電管装置であ
    る請求項１記載の機械式駐車装置の安全装置。
