Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformly remove tar, etc., deposited on a knife edge groove in high efficiency by providing a mechanical cleaning apparatus and a high-pressure water-jet cleaning apparatus in such a manner as to be movable in the longitudinal direction of a knife edge. CONSTITUTION:High-pressure water jet is ejected from a nozzle 14 while transferring the nozzle in the longitudinal direction of a knife edge groove by a transfer apparatus 12 to clean the knife edge groove (b) near the knife edge (c) and near a brick holder (d) preventing the damage of knife edge and brick holder. At the same time, the part of the groove except for the parts cleaned by the above process is scraped with a scraper 9 to complete the cleaning operation. The sizes of a high-pressure water pump, a high-pressure water piping and a water-treatment facility can be reduced and the initial cost of the apparatuses and the running cost of operation can be decreased by this process.

The knife knife on the oven lid is an important part that seals the coke oven gas from leaking into the atmosphere when the oven lid is attached to the kiln mouth of the coke oven, so avoid scratching, deforming, or breaking the knife when cleaning. It cannot be allowed to occur. In addition, the brick holder is extremely uneven at the part that holds the heat insulating material (heat-resistant bricks, etc.) on the furnace lid, so it is necessary to provide a large amount of clearance for safety when cleaning.

However, since the mechanical cleaning device uses mechanical contact for cleaning, it is absolutely necessary to avoid contact between the knife and the brick holder as described above, except in the vicinity of the knife in the knife groove and in the vicinity of the brick holder. Only the approximately central portion could be cleaned, and a sufficient cleaning width could not be obtained. Further, the deposits in the knife groove move to the contact surface of the scraping means and are deposited thereon. Since the cleaning effect decreases as the deposits grow, the cleaning effect decreases dramatically in a relatively short period of time.

For this reason, the work of removing deposits from the contact surface of the scraping means must normally be performed manually. The more times this removal work is performed, the better; This is not possible, and the current situation is that coke guide trucks, coke extruders, etc. are stopped 2.3 times during the day (excluding nighttime hours), so removal work is limited to 2.3 times a day. Therefore, there is an inconvenience in that it is unavoidable to use the cleaning device in a state where the cleaning effect is reduced to some extent.

Therefore, in order to eliminate this inconvenience,
It is conceivable to continuously remove deposits accumulated on the contact surface of the scraping means during cleaning by using a mechanical contact type device as seen in Japanese Patent No. 21634, but it is not possible to remove the deposits from the contact surface of the scraping means. This eliminates the inconvenience of having to manually remove the deposits that have moved to the contact surface of the removal device, because the removal effect decreases as the deposits move and accumulate on the contact surface of the removal device. There wasn't.

In addition, the high-pressure water cleaning device provides the necessary pressure, flow rate, and cleaning time to scatter and wash deposits, and cleans the knife groove without damaging the knife groove, brick holder, and bottom of the knife groove made of steel. It has the advantage of being able to clean the entire width of the groove.
In order to clean the entire groove width with high-pressure water cleaning, a large amount of high-pressure water is required for cleaning, and the high-pressure water pump and high-pressure water piping that guides high-pressure water from the pump to the nozzle are large, and the cleaning process requires a large amount of high-pressure water. The equipment for treating the wastewater was also large and uneconomical.

Therefore, when the screw cutter 3 is rotated and the lifting cart 1 is moved downward while jetting high pressure water from the high pressure water jet nozzle 5, the deposits attached to both sides a of the furnace NG are scraped off by the screw cutter 3. At the same time, as shown in Fig. 4, the high-pressure water jetted from the high-pressure water jet nozzle 5 adheres to the knife groove C (width A part) and the brick holder d (width 8 part) of the knife groove on the side of the furnace lid. The deposits are washed and removed. For this reason, the deposits attached to the center part (width C part) of the groove bottom e remain unremoved, but this is removed by the scraper 9.
As a result, the knife groove b (groove width D) can be cleaned.

In addition, the high-pressure water jet nozzle 5 and the scraper 9 are moved downward, and the deposits adhering to the knife groove C near the knife groove C (width A part) and the brick holder d near the brick holder d (width 8 part) are first cleaned with high-pressure water. After removal, the deposits adhering to the center part (width C part) of the knife groove were scraped and removed by scraper action.
The vertical positions of the high-pressure water jet nozzle 5 and the scraper 9 are reversed, and the deposits adhering to the central part (width C part) of the knife groove are first removed, and then the deposits near the knife groove C are removed.
It is preferable to remove the deposits adhering to the width A portion) and the vicinity of the brick holder d (width portion 8), since the cleaning layer will easily flow to the removal trace at the center of the groove, and the cleaning effect can be further improved.

Deposits move and accumulate on the scraper 9 from the knife groove, but since the high-pressure water jet nozzle 14 is directed toward the scraper 9, when high-pressure water is injected from the high-pressure water jet nozzle 14, it is removed from the nozzle. The deposits on the scraper 9 are washed and removed by the jetted high-pressure water, and the cleaning effect of the scraper 9 is maintained. Furthermore, since there is no contact, deposits do not move from the knife groove side to the removal device (high-pressure water jet nozzle 14) side, so there is no need for the conventional removal device to remove deposits.

When this device is installed in a coke extruder, the coke oven 1
Extruder operating time per gate is approximately 8 minutes. Of this time, it only takes about 4 minutes to clean the groove on the side of the furnace lid. Since the high pressure water jet nozzle 5 is used during this time, the high pressure water pump is in an on-load state. However, for the remaining four minutes, the high-pressure water jet nozzle 5 is not used, and the high-pressure water pump is in an unloaded state. Moreover, the cleaning width C by the scraper 9 is the cleaning width A by high-pressure water.
It is almost the same as +B. Therefore, by using the high-pressure water pump for the high-pressure water jet nozzle 5 when it is not being used to clean the furnace lid side groove, the deposits on the scraper 9 can be removed by the high-pressure water jetted from the high-pressure water jet nozzle 14. . That is, after cleaning the knife groove on the side of the furnace lid, the high-pressure water pump is switched from the high-pressure water jet nozzle 5 to the high-pressure water jet nozzle 14 using the switching valve, and high-pressure water is injected from the nozzle 14 to clean the scraper 9. By removing the deposits, it is possible to complete the cleaning of the groove on the side of the furnace lid and the cleaning of the used scraper 9 within the working time of the extruder per one coke oven, that is, during operation.

To remove the deposits on the scraper 9, the nozzle mounting member 11 is moved by the moving device 12, and the high-pressure water jet nozzle 14 is advanced from the retraction limit position (storage position) at an appropriate speed while jetting high-pressure water. This high-pressure water cleans and removes deposits from the scraper 9 from the root to the tip.

Although this embodiment has been described as an example of cleaning the knife groove on the side surface of the furnace lid, the same effect can be applied to cleaning the knife groove on the upper or lower surface of the furnace lid. In addition, the coke oven lid groove cleaning device was explained.
Needless to say, it can also be applied as a device for cleaning tar pans and the like.

As described above, the present invention cleans the vicinity of the knife groove and the brick holder at the bottom of the knife groove by cleaning with high-pressure water while moving in the longitudinal direction of the knife groove so as not to damage the knife groove and the brick holder. Since the parts other than the vicinity of the knife and the brick holder are scraped and cleaned with a scraper, the knife groove can be reliably and efficiently cleaned without damaging the knife and brick holder, and work efficiency can be improved. Moreover, only the vicinity of the knife groove and the brick holder are cleaned with high pressure water instead of the entire groove width inside the knife groove, and the amount of cleaning water can be significantly reduced. It is possible to downsize the equipment and reduce the initial cost and running cost of the equipment.

In addition, the deposits that have accumulated on the scraper can be cleaned by cleaning with high-pressure water, and the cleaning effect of the scraper can be maintained, so the knife groove can be cleaned evenly, which helps maintain and improve the cleaning effect of the furnace lid groove mentioned above. Moreover, since the deposits on the scraper are removed without contact, there is no deterioration in the functionality of the removal device, which helps maintain the cleaning effect of the scraper, and eliminates the need for waste disposal on the removal device as in the past. There is also an advantage.
