針金、木材、竹材、紙材等の芯材に直接火薬を
固着してなるスパークラー等の玩具花火は従来よ
り使用されている。ところで、玩具花火1本当り
の火薬量は安全性等の観点から法冷により一定量
以下に規制されているため、従来の玩具花火のよ
うに限られた量の火薬を直接芯材に固着した場合
には火薬部の形状は芯材に対応する直線的もしく
は曲線的な細棒状又は薄板状のものにならざるを
得ない。従つて、火薬部の一端に点火したときに
は、火薬部は細棒状のものにあつては順次ほぼ点
状に燃焼し、薄板状のものにあつては順次ほぼ線
状に燃焼するにすぎないという点でおもしろ味に
欠ける。また、芯材が木材、竹材、紙材等の可燃
材の場合には、芯材も燃えてしまうため火薬の燃
焼が妨げられるおそれがあると共に火薬の炎色の
美しさが損なわれるだけでなく火傷、火災等の危
険をも生ずることがある。一方、芯材が針金の場
合には火薬の燃焼により針金が加熱されるため手
