It is known that the tips of the light emitting diodes are made to protrude from the light emitting diode and are made to blink, thereby improving visibility compared to other line-of-sight guiding lights that consist only of reflectors.

Since the optical directivity of the light emitting diode is narrow, sufficient visibility cannot be obtained over a wide range, and if a large number of light emitting diodes are installed to solve this problem, the cost will increase significantly. Furthermore, in the case of road signs installed outdoors, if the light-emitting diodes are exposed to the outside, water will enter the lighting device of the self-luminous sign, leading to electrical failure and reducing its function as a highly visible sign. I had a problem when I lost it.

点を解決するものである。(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks all at once, and is a self-luminous sign that effectively utilizes the lighting of light emitting diodes to improve visibility and has excellent moisture resistance. It provides: Specifically, a light emitting diode is disposed in each of a plurality of openings formed in the support member, and at least a region covering the tip of the light emitting part of the light emitting diode and the light emitting part of another adjacent light emitting diode is transparent. The above-mentioned problem is solved by providing a sign surface covered with a transparent material and a reflective layer interposed between the light-transmitting member and the supporting member to reflect a part of the light emitted from the light emitting diode. It is something to do.

That is, a plurality of light emitting diodes 50 serving as light sources are arranged in each of a plurality of openings formed in the lamp device 3 of the support member, and at least a region covering the tip of each light emitting part 5 and other light emitting parts 5 is covered with glass. A donut plate-shaped front cover 6 made of a transparent material of a plastic lamp is covered. Here, the light emitting diode 50 is arranged in a circular shape on the front peripheral edge of the lamp device 3, and a front cover 6 is provided to reflect a part of the light emitted from the light emitting diode 50.
A reflective layer, which will be described later, is interposed between the lamp device 3 and the lamp device 3.
When the reflector 7 is provided to reflect the headlight, it is placed at a position where the light reflected from the external light by the reflector 7 does not interfere with the lighting of the light emitting diode 50.

For example, the lighting light λ 0 emitted obliquely forward travels straight through the front cover 6, and a part of the lighting light λ 0 is transmitted outward at the surface interface of the front cover 6 (transmitted light λ′ 1 ). The rest is reflected and the primary reflected light λ 1 goes straight through the front cover 6 again. The primary reflected light λ 1 is totally reflected by the reflective layer 9 provided on the back surface of the front cover 6, and becomes the totally reflected secondary reflected light λ 1. The reflected light λ 2 travels straight through the front cover 6 again, and is transmitted (transmitted light λ' 3 ) and reflected (tertiary reflected light λ 3 ) at the surface interface of the front cover 6.

Since it is equipped with a marking surface and a reflective layer interposed between them, it is possible to effectively utilize the lighting light of the light emitting diode, which has low current consumption and narrow optical directivity, and weakens the direct light from the light emitting diode compared to conventional methods. In addition, a part or the entire sign surface can be recognized as if it were emitting light, and it can function as a highly visible sign with an extremely simple configuration.
