おいては、利用される数字の桁数に一致して複数個の活
字輪が字輪軸に並列的に外嵌挿されている.従来、この
活字輪には亜鉛ダイカスト品のものが使用されていたが
、活字輪の文字部を彫刻仕上げするため非常にコスト高

〈発明が解決しようとする課題〉
しかし、上記両方法により活字輪の活字面のみを粗面処
理するには専用設備を必要とし、活字輪・・の表面処理
コストを高くするとともに、上記両方法によれば、その
処理品質が均一性に欠ける欠点があった。耐磨耗強度の
点に関しては、この強度を高めるための処理は何ら行わ

より活字輪基体の全表面にアンカー孔を形成し、その後
、中和、触媒付与及び活性化の前処理後にスルファミン
酸ニッケルを含むメッキ液中に浸漬処理することにより
、活字輸基体の表面にニッケル皮膜を形成するものであ
