Claims (1)
に往復移動させるワーク駆動モータと、前記ワー
クの表面に対しほぼ法線方向に延びる中心軸線を
有しかつ先端部が同表面に近接してベツドに支持
され同表面の移動に応じて同表面と前記溝の境界
のエツジを検出する非接触型の位置決めセンサと
、この位置決めセンサが前記ワーク駆動モータに
よる前記表面の一方向の移動によりひとつの前記
溝の一方の側のエツジを検出したときの前記ワー
クの位置と逆方向の移動によりひとつの前記溝の
他方の側のエツジを検出したときの同ワークの位
置をそれぞれ検出し記憶する位置検出記憶手段と
、この位置検出記憶手段の位置情報に基づき同溝
の中心位置を演算する演算手段よりなる溝検出装
置において、前記ベツドに設けられて前記位置決
めセンサを前記中心軸線回りに回動可能に支持す
るサンサ割出し装置と、前記ワークの表面の移動
の向きに対応して前記センサ割出し装置を作動さ
せ前記位置決めセンサを前記中心軸線回りに回動
して位相が１８０度異なる２つの位置に割り出す
割出し制御手段を備えたことを特徴とする溝検出
