Abstract

PURPOSE:To lighten a cage and improve the rigidity by sandwiching a honeycomb plate between an upper and a lower metal plates to be bonded, and interposing a frame-formed fixing member for surrounding the honeycomb plate in the peripheral part between the metal plates for bonding to form a cage floor, and fixing the cage floor to a floor frame and a skirting board with the upper and the lower metal plates. CONSTITUTION:A lower metal plate 31a having an area as same as a cage floor frame 20 is placed on the cage floor frame 20, and a honeycomb plate 22 having an area as same as the inside area of a cage chamber is placed on the lower metal plate 31a for bonding. A rectangular frame fixing member 32 is fitted so as to surround the periphery of the honeycomb plate 22 to prevent deformation of the honeycomb plate 22. An upper metal plate 31b is placed on the honeycomb plate 22 and the fixing member 32 for bonding so as to cover them, and a plywood 23 and a glazed tile 24 are bonded. The floor plate 20 and the skirting board 25 are bonded to the fixing member 32 with bolts. Consequently, deflection to be caused by offset of a load is absorbed with the tensile force of the metal plates 31a, 31b to maintain the rigidity.

This variation in load causes the car floor to bend (see Figure i7). In particular, since elevator cars are used for long periods of time, the floor of the car repeatedly bends as passengers get on and off the car, deforming the honeycomb plate and causing the bond between it and the metal plate to separate. Therefore, there is a problem that the rigidity of the car floor is reduced and its function is impaired.

(Function) When passengers ride on the elevator car floor in a concentrated manner or in the corners, the elevator car floor tends to flex.
