Abstract

PURPOSE:To densify the adhesion of a dye to the surface grain of veneer by electrostatically applying a sealer mixed with a specific amount of a colorant to the surface of veneer whose grain is conditioned and further electrostatically applying a color sealer mixed with a specific amount of a colorant thereto. CONSTITUTION:After the surface grain of veneer decorative plywood is conditioned, a sealer mixed with 10-20wt.% of a colorant is electrostatically applied to the plywood to perform sealing coloration. Subsequently, a color sealer mixed with 10-20wt.% of a colorant is electrostatically applied thereto. Thereafter, paint such as a transparent sealer, urethane sanding, polyester, colored urethane flat or transparent urethane flat same as conventional one is applied. In the aforementioned electrostatic coating treatment, the generation of irregularity on the surface of veneer is eliminated even when paint high in the mixing ratio of a colorant is used and paint can be uniformly and densely bonded to the surface grain of the veneer.

However, since the board in decorative plywood is an extremely thin material that is glued to plywood, the depth of the wood grain is shallow even if the surface is painted by normal means. Paints such as fillers and coloring agents cannot be applied to the thick areas, making it difficult to create sufficiently large patterns, and therefore it is especially difficult to create a pattern similar to that of solid wood. A careful painting process is required, which is specifically performed in the following steps.

Electrostatic painting refers to electrostatic painting in which the paint sprayed from a painted cedar spray tube and the object to be painted are charged with static electricity of different polarities (positive and negative), and the attractive force between the two is used to cause the object to be painted to receive a charge. Since this sealing coloring process uses electrostatic painting, the sealing colorant will surely penetrate into the shallow and thick areas of the board and seal the wood, thereby improving the wood grain.
The work is densely embossed, giving it a condition similar to that of a plain piece of paper, and the entire surface is evenly painted. Moreover, the coloring agent mixed in a large proportion makes it suitably colored.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, according to the invention, it is possible to color the decorative plywood in a way that brings out the large grains of the decorative plywood in a precise manner, giving it a luxurious feel similar to that of solid wood, and it is also possible to apply electrostatic coating. Since this treatment is carried out, it is possible to efficiently and labor-savingly paint the surface of the board without causing unevenness in the coating, and it is also possible to use paint effectively and reduce its consumption.

This process also uses electrostatic coating as described above, so even though the paint contains a large proportion of coloring agent, it is coated evenly over the entire surface, and a large proportion of the coloring agent is applied to the interior of the building. The surface is colored at a high rate.

After the treatment, it is dried for approximately 2 hours. As a result, the object to be painted can be colored in a desired deep color without the need for multiple coats as in the conventional method.

(4) After this, various paints such as conventional transparent sealer, Tsuurethane sanding, polynistil, colored urethane flat, or transparent urethane flat are applied. In this case, it is necessary to take advantage of the characteristics of electrostatic painting. It is preferable to use electrostatic coating as much as possible.
