Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the application of paint, while easily emphasizing a rugged pattern, by packing a pasty coloring agent into cavities on the surface of a workpiece to be coated, removing adherent matter from projections, and then applying a liquid which dissolves the coloring agent. CONSTITUTION:A body pigment, e.g. powder based on barium sulfate and calcium carbonate, is mixed with a coloring agent and formed into paste by a liquid in which the coloring agent is not dissolved. This pasty composition is rubbed into cavities on the surface of a workpiece to be coated, and its part adhering to projections is removed. Thereafter, a liquid in which the coloring agent is dissolved is applied to perform coloring. Accordingly, the fine grain of wood, the rugged pattern of plastics, etc. can be easily emphasized, and the value of the product can be enhanced.

In conventional wood painting methods using dyes, areas other than the grain of the wood are also dyed, and the effect of emphasizing the tone of the wood grain is small. In addition, as a filler, it is also possible to color the wood grain by applying extender pigment, coloring agent binder, etc. mixed with water or fest, etc., rubbing it into the wood grain, and removing the parts other than the wood grain. Emphasizing the grain is widely known, but this method did not emphasize the grain sufficiently in the case of wood with few uneven grains.

On the other hand, when painting a glass product with a concave-convex pattern, a method similar to that used for painting wood is used, but if the concave-convex pattern is minute, it is extremely difficult to emphasize the concave pattern. Another method is to apply a paint of the desired color to the concave portions to create a concave pattern, and after drying, remove the paint film adhering to the convex portions with a sandbray/4'-, etc., and then apply a different color paint only to the convex portions. However, there were some drawbacks, such as the number of work steps and time-consuming process.

This invention was made in order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and it emphasizes the fine grain of wood such as wood products and decorative veneers, and also emphasizes the unevenness of glass with various patterns etc. To provide a patterned painting method that easily emphasizes the grain of wood or the uneven pattern of plastic with an uneven pattern, with the aim of enhancing the artistic value by emphasizing the pattern.

The combination of colorant and liquid is important here, and in the case of water-soluble dyes, various drying oils, liquids that are difficult to dissolve, etc.
In addition to alcoholic acid, aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons such as kerosene, naphtha, gasoline, and hexane are generally used. Ketones, esters, and ethers can also be used depending on the type of water-soluble dye. When using a dye in water with lIA# and specific organic solvent 0Ts, use water or an organic solvent or drying oil that does not dissolve the dye. When water is used, seaweed, glue, etc. may be added if necessary.

Next, regarding the color development of the colorant, if the colorant is water-soluble, the color is developed by spraying water on it. In this case, glue, glue, etc. may be added to prevent sagging.

Further, when the colorant is soluble in an organic solvent, the color is developed by spraying the organic solvent alone or with the addition of an anti-sag agent, and after drying, the color is fixed by painting. In this case as well, it is possible to develop and fix the color at the same time by spraying various paints containing a solvent that dissolves the core layer colorant instead of the organic solvent.

〈Example 1〉 100 g of a grinding wheel and a water-insoluble dye Eisenspironzolon R (trade name) 5S were sufficiently mixed on the painted surface of the leftover wood with relatively fine grains, which was finished evenly with a sand peneter. ,
Knead it into a paste with water and apply it with a brush. After drying, remove the mixture of abrasive and dye adhering to the convex parts with a cloth, and then spray the Sugerei clear lacquer on the concave parts. - The remaining dye develops color and the wood grain of the remaining wood is enlarged and emphasized, resulting in f1 with a noticeable wood grain that has an aesthetic effect!

As explained in detail above, the patterned coating method according to the present invention involves filling the concavities of the kimono surface to be painted with an uneven pattern with an extender pigment and a coloring agent, and then adhering it to the convex portions. The method is characterized in that the mixture is removed and then a liquid that dissolves the coloring agent is applied to develop color.
The fine wood grain pattern of wood can be enlarged and emphasized, and the added value (il [t-) of the wood can be improved.

Furthermore, the product value can be improved by enlarging and emphasizing the fine uneven patterns of glass products, ceramics, and other building materials. Furthermore, by spraying paint or emulsion paint containing a liquid that dissolves the coloring agent remaining in the recesses, it is possible to easily create a two-color pattern, thereby increasing the artistic value.
