ンジン１のオイルパン４に潤滑油ポンプ１７を設
け、クランク軸７内に給油孔１８をクランク軸７
の下部周面からクランクピン２０部の周面に亘つ
て形成し、給油孔１８の下端入口に潤滑油ポンプ
１７の吐出口を連通させて構成した縦軸エンジン
の潤滑装置において、 クランクピン２０部の上側に位置しているクラ
ンクアーム２１部の周面に給油孔１８より小径の
オイル噴出孔２２を形成し、このオイル噴出孔２
２を給油孔１８に連通させるとともに、オイル噴
出孔２２から噴出した潤滑油を拡散する拡散手段
２３を配置したことを特徴とする縦軸エンジンの
