(Background) Today, when applying drugs such as ointments to treat trauma such as wounds and burns, it is generally done by applying the ointment directly to the affected area and then covering it with gauze. After applying the gauze to the skin, the surface of the gauze or the like is covered with a protective paper such as oil paper or plastic film, and finally it is secured with a bandage, plaster, or the like. However, according to the former method, it is not only difficult to uniformly apply ointment or the like to the injured surface, but also there is a risk of damaging the fragile affected skin surface. On the other hand, although the latter method can avoid the former disadvantage of damaging the affected area, it is troublesome to uniformly and aseptically apply the drug to gauze or the like. For the above reasons, the emergence of ointment-like drug-applied gauze, etc., in which ointment, etc. is evenly applied to the front surface of a carrier such as gauze, which can be easily applied to the affected area in a clean state at the time of use, is a major development in surgery. Although this is extremely desirable from a medical perspective in dermatology, there has hitherto been no means to practically solve this problem. (Problems with the Prior Art) Conventionally, as a device for applying a comparatively highly viscous plaster-like medicine such as a poultice medicine onto one surface of a lint cloth, etc., a cylindrical medicine container and a front opening of the container are used. The lint cloth placement plates are supported oppositely, and a piston that slides closely against the inner wall of the drug container pushes out the viscous drug from the opening to the front, and the lint cloth placement plate is placed on the placement plate. At the same time, the viscous drug is pressed onto one side of the lint cloth, and the viscous drug is cut by a thin blade cutter that can move up and down along the end surface of the opening, and a smooth paste-like drug layer of the required thickness is applied and formed on the lint cloth. A model has been developed in which the As a separate example, by continuously running a long bandage along the non-immersed circumferential surface of a rotating drum whose circumferential surface is partially immersed in a liquid drug layer,
A drug-applied bandage manufacturing device is already known in which the drug attached to the circumferential surface of the drum is transferred and applied to the bandage (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 146090/1983). Among the above-mentioned known means, the former is clearly unsuitable for mass production and can only be applied to small-scale production in hospitals, pharmacies, etc. On the other hand, although the latter can be used for mass production, it is not only virtually impossible to apply an ointment with a uniform thickness only by such a simple transfer method, but it is also impossible to apply an ointment with a uniform thickness using any of the above methods. Since the method lacks a means to protect both sides of the drug layer, it is not only inconvenient to use and easy to become unclean, but also becomes a major obstacle when attempting to aseptically seal and package it in aluminum foil or the like. Incidentally, in the field of production of plasters and the like, which is a field similar to the subject of the present invention, a method of spreading a drug onto an impermeable base fabric on a roll with a doctor knife is commonly used (for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-34883,
No. 50-88213, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 50-41747, etc.), such a method using a roll and a doctor knife makes it possible to uniformly apply the chemical to both sides of the base fabric. In addition, when the base fabric is made of a flexible material such as gauze, an important issue to be solved is how to shape wrinkles caused by application of the drug.

(Summary) In order to achieve the above object, the device for manufacturing a plaster-like drug-applied gauze/protective paper laminate according to the present invention includes a drug supply device that continuously supplies a plaster-like drug contained in a hopper, and a drug supply device that continuously supplies a plaster-like drug contained in a hopper. A gauze supply means and a protective paper supply means that continuously supply a long base fabric and a long protective paper that are wound and stored in a roll, and a chemical coating for applying the chemical to the base fabric. a mounting device;
A plaster-like drug manufacturing device comprising means for applying a protective paper to the drug-applied gauze, the manufacturing device comprising: a pair of spreading pressure rolls whose gap can be adjusted; It includes a pair of wrinkle-removing brush rolls located in front of the roller, and between the spreading pressure rolls, the application and spreading of the drug to the base fabric gauze and the application of protective paper to both sides of the drug-applied gauze are performed. , the protective paper, drug-applied gauze, and protective paper laminate sent from the front are shaped between the next brush rolls (principle), i.e., any drug supply device. When the plaster-like drug adhered in a band shape to one or both sides of a mesh-like carrier such as gauze passes through the gap between the two spreading pressure rolls, it is strongly pressed through the protective paper on both sides, and as a result, the roll axis It spreads in the direction of , passes through the network of the network carrier, and spreads to a uniform thickness over both surfaces of the network carrier. At this time, if the supply amount (rate) of the drug, the viscosity, and the feeding speed of the network carrier are appropriate, the drug will be spread over the entire width of the network carrier without substantially protruding from the edges of the network carrier. Spread evenly. At the same time, the protective paper also adheres to both the front and back coated surfaces. However, while the central mesh carrier itself is soft, the protective paper on both sides is relatively hard and has different elongation rates. The paper/gauze laminate inevitably has many wrinkles oriented approximately parallel to the axial direction of the roll. These wrinkles are not only unsightly in themselves, but because the wrinkled portions do not adhere tightly to the surface of the plaster-like drug, there is a risk that the drug may be oxidized by air. Therefore, in the present invention, as a characteristic configuration, a pair of wrinkle-removing brush rolls is provided after the rolling pressure roll, and the wrinkles in the paper/gauze laminate generated by the rolling pressure roll in the previous stage are removed by this roll. to be done. (Drug supply device) The drug ejection device usually consists of a combination of a gravity-type hopper and a valved discharge pump as in the embodiments described below, but if the viscosity of the drug is higher, it may be changed to an extruder type. Good too. (Spreading Pressure Roll) This spreading pressure roll is a pair of rolls that rotate inwardly toward each other, pulling the generated paper/gauze laminate, and at the same time spreading the drug coated on the mesh carrier through the protective paper. It has the effect of squeezing and spreading. However, in the present invention, since the thickness of the mesh carrier such as gauze and the amount of drug applied vary depending on the purpose, it is desirable to be able to adjust the gap between the spreading pressure rolls as desired. This adjustment mechanism can be achieved by moving the drive shafts of both rolls toward or away from each other in parallel using a simple screw mechanism. In principle, this adjustment is performed manually, but if desired, changes in the thickness of the mesh carrier, viscosity of the drug, changes in ejection volume, and/or margin fluctuations on both edges of the mesh carrier may be detected. It is also possible to configure the system so that the optimum clearance depending on the situation is automatically set by feeding back signals from various sensors to the gap adjustment mechanism between both rolls. (Brush Roll) A brush roll is a pair of cylindrical rolls with brush bristles planted on the central boss. This product also rotates by itself and has the effect of pulling the paper/gauze laminate sent through the expansion roll to some extent, but its main function is to correct wrinkles and slack that have occurred in the paper/gauze laminate. It is. This straightening action removes the wrinkles and looseness that occur between the rolling pressure rolls, resulting in a complete paper/gauze laminate with the protective paper in close contact with the entire surface of the plaster-like drug gauze applied to the central plaster network carrier. is formed. (Mesh-like carrier) The most suitable mesh-like carrier for the ointment and other plaster-like drugs in the present invention is so-called gauze, but it is also a soft, water-absorbing fabric with open mesh (hereinafter referred to as gauze). If so, you can use it in the same way. These mesh carriers usually have a width of about 10 cm for convenience of use, but may be narrower or wider. However, when using a wide material, it is preferable to provide two or more drug ejection ports to make the thickness of the drug layer uniform after spreading. Note that as the protective paper, a material such as oil paper (paraffin paper) or polyolefin resin film is used that can adhere closely to the plaster-like drug layer and can prevent penetration or infiltration of the drug. (Packaging) The paper/gauze laminate made with the device of the present invention may be wound up in a long length on a boppin, etc., but it is preferable to cut it in a certain way and then cut it into pieces such as aluminum foil bags. Preferably, it is aseptically sealed in a gas-impermeable packaging material. Therefore, it is best to perform all operations in an aseptic atmosphere, but if the ointment does not change in quality due to heating (for example, separation of ingredients) and the packaging material is heat resistant, steam sterilization after packaging is recommended. This consideration is particularly important when the paper/gauze laminate is to be used surgically.

The plaster-like drug applied to a mesh-like carrier such as gauze is pressurized between a pair of spreading pressure rolls through protective paper on both sides, so that the drug is evenly applied to both sides of the carrier. Afterwards, between subsequent brush rolls, wrinkles are removed and the back side of the protective paper is in complete contact with the drug surface, which not only makes it look beautiful, but also prevents the drug inside from deteriorating due to oxidation. Ru. It should be noted that if the configuration is such that the gap between the rolling pressure rolls can be adjusted, it is advantageous to deal with changes in coating thickness or carrier thickness.

The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the explanation is merely an example and is not intended to limit the spirit of the invention. (Structure) Fig. 1 is an explanatory side view illustrating an apparatus for producing a plaster-like drug-applied gauze protective paper laminate according to the present invention (abbreviated as the present apparatus), and Fig. 2 is an explanatory side view of the roll gap adjustment device. FIG. The device is mounted on a pedestal 5, and a drug discharge port 2 opens below a leak-type hopper 1 with an agitator 7 for drug storage located above through a valve 3 communicating with a drug discharge pump 4. Note that the stirrer 7 is
It is supported by a column 6 erected on a pedestal 5, and is driven via a transmission belt 9 by an electric motor 8 disposed at the upper end of the column. The apparatus of this example also includes two spreading pressure rolls 10 and 11 arranged in parallel along a horizontal plane at a position below the valve 3 and rotating surfaces of both spreading pressure rolls 11 (see FIG. 2 below). It is equipped with a roll gap adjustment device for adjusting the gap l between them and a wrinkle removal device consisting of two brush rolls 13 and 14. The roll gap adjustment device (Fig. 2) consists of a frame 15 with a window fixed to the back side of the upper plate of the pedestal 5, and a handle 1 screwed into a female screw carved into the left stile of the window.
The tip of the screw shaft is connected to a bearing 16 that supports one of the expansion rolls 10. Accordingly, the rotation of the handle 19 causes the bearing 16 to slide along the upper and lower frames of the window, increasing or decreasing the distance between the rolls. If necessary, a similar threaded shaft may be attached to the bearing 17 of the other roll 11, or the reciprocating motion of the threaded shaft 18 may be linked to the other bearing 17 via a known transmission mechanism. The apparatus of this example further includes a storage reel 21 for winding and storing a long gauze 20 wound into a roll, and a plurality of four freely rotating feed rolls 22a to 2.
It is equipped with a gauze delivery device consisting of 2d. One feed roll 22 from the above feed roll group

(Operation) [Preparation] To operate the device of this example, the ends of the protective papers 25, 28 and gauze 20 are overlapped and passed between the brush rolls 13/14 in the following order. First protection paper 25: 26 → 27a → 27b → 27c
〓〓 Gauze 20: 21 → 22a → 22b → 22c → 1
0→〓〓→ Second protective paper 28:29→30a→30b→11〓
[Operation] When the valve 3 is opened and the device is operated, the spreading rolls 10, 11 and brush rolls 13, 14 start rotating, and at the same time, the paste-like medicine homogenized by the stirrer 7 is pumped by the pump 4. It is continuously supplied between the spreading pressure rolls 10/11. This paste-like drug is applied to the protective paper 2 by two spreading pressure rolls 10 and 11.
5 and 28 to spread the gauze 20 into a sheet of uniform thickness over the front and back sides, and at the same time, both protective papers are brought into close contact with both sides of the drug, forming an integrated protective paper. / Passes between both rolls as a gauze laminate. This laminate is then applied to a brush roll 13/
14, the slack and wrinkles are corrected, resulting in a complete paper/gauze laminate 31 with protective paper in close contact with both sides of the drug layer. The shaped continuous paper/gauze laminate 31 is cut into a certain desired size by a lower cutting device 32, and is sequentially transferred to a stacking section 34 by a conveying device 33, where it is sorted into predetermined number of sheets by a counting phototube 35.
