本発明は、コンタクト・スタート・ストップ方式の磁気
ディスク装置に使用される磁気ディスク媒体に関するも

をデータ領域として使用している。1た、磁気ディスク
媒体では耐久性の向上を図るために非磁性支持体10両
面上に磁性膜層2を形成し、この磁性膜層2上に潤滑剤
を塗布し、所定の一定膜厚の潤滑膜層3を形威させてい

内側には潤滑膜層3aの膜厚よシも薄い潤滑膜層3bが

データ領域の潤滑膜層の膜厚を厚くでき、耐久性を向上
