部を拡大して示す部分拡大断面図、第３図ａ〜ｃ
は上記実施例の方法の各工程におけるサイドギヤ
とプラグの状態をそれぞれ示す半部断面図、第４
図はプラグを使用しない場合、従来のプラグを使
用した場合および上記実施例のプラグを使用した
場合の、熱処理後のサイドギヤのボス部のテーパ
ー歪み量を測定した結果をそれぞれ示す比較図、
第５図は従来の熱処理歪み防止プラグをサイドギ
ヤとともに示す断面図である。

きくかつ加熱時には僅かに小さい外径のストレー
ト部３ａを有するとともに、このストレート部の
一端側に鍔部３ｂを有し、他端側には常温時にそ
のテーパ面が前記部品のボス部内に嵌まりあうよ
うな先細りのテーパー部３ｃを有することを特徴
