Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the direct control of the history of an input/output device via a host device by using a history storage circuit which stores the history of the input/output device and a history communication control circuit which controls the communication of the history data to a request given from the host device. CONSTITUTION:A history storage circuit 13 stores the history of a host device 16, and a history communication control circuit 14 controls the communication of the history data on the signal lines 102 and 103 to a request given from the device 16. Then a CPU 11 controls a communication circuit 12 and the circuits 13 and 14 with the control signals set on the signal lines 101 and 105. The circuit 12 transfers the communication data to the device 16 via a signal line 106. In such a constitution, the history of the device 16 can be communicated and therefore the device 16 can directly control the input/output history.
