Abstract

PURPOSE:To ease getting on and off or increase driving force of a pedal and the like with a saddle adjusted and fixed to an optional height position by supporting the stay of a saddle with free elevating motion via a spring, and also elevatingly driving the stay by remote control wire operation. CONSTITUTION:The receiving base 4 of a saddle 1 is fitted to a fitting base 2 in the frame of a bicycle with a tightening clamp 3. The stay 5 of the saddle 1 is housed in the inside of the receiving base 4 via a spring 15 and a shock absorber 16 with free elevating motion. Many grooves 6 are formed on the outer side surface of the stay 5, and a stopper 7 whose tip is selectively engaged with each groove 6 is fitted to one end of the receiving base 4 with a rotation axis 8. Moreover a lever 13 for rotating the stopper 7 is joined to the base end of the stopper 7 with a rotation axis 10. Then the stopper 7 is rotated via a wire 14 to adjust the vertical position of the saddle 1 by operating a lever 17 in a condition where a handle 18 is gripped by an driver.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to pedaling comfortably when riding a bicycle. Experiments have shown that when pedaling a bicycle, when the pedals are at the lowest position, it is easier to ride if the knees are straight. This is also proven by running with However, when the saddle is raised, it is too high for a normal person to sit on it, and even if they start riding again, when they stop and get off, their feet cannot reach the ground and the bicycle falls over. The object of the present invention is to ride the bicycle easily and safely by setting the saddle high while riding the bicycle and lowering it when starting and getting off the bicycle. In other words, the height of the saddle is initially low, and when you start riding, raise the saddle using the force of a spring, etc.
Lock in any position. When you stop and want to get out of the vehicle, you unlock the vehicle and use the weight of the person riding to lower the saddle until your toes touch the ground. Examples thereof will be described below with reference to the drawings. Figure 1 shows a person riding a bicycle with his or her feet touching the ground, which is what a normal bicycle looks like. Figure 2 shows the rider riding with the saddle in a low position and pedaling with his knees bent. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the device of the present invention mounted on a bicycle. FIG. 4 is a detailed diagram of the invention. In Fig. 4, 2 is the frame of the bicycle, 3 is the clamp that fixes the entire saddle to the frame, 4 is the support that indirectly supports the saddle 1 on the frame 1, 5 is the base. is the support of saddle 1, and the indirect bearing 4 is inserted into the stand and slides up and down. 5 is hollow, and a spring 15 is fitted inside so as to always push the saddle upward. 6 is a groove that engages with the stopper 7 to fix the saddle, and 8 is the rotation axis pin of the stopper 7. When the lever of the handle 17 is squeezed, the stopper 7 is separated from the groove 6 of the support column 5 via the lever 13 by the remote control wire 14, and the saddle becomes free to move up and down. When the lever 17 is released, the lever 13 is pulled by the spring 9, and the tip of the claw of the stopper 7 bites into the groove 6, fixing the saddle 1. At this time, a protrusion 11 is provided on the stand 4 to prevent the lever 13 from overrunning. 16 is provided to absorb the shock when the saddle comes down due to your weight. Hereinafter, how to actually use the present invention will be explained. When you start riding on the saddle, stand up on the pedals with both feet, lift your hips off the saddle, and squeeze the lever 17. The stopper 7 will come off and the saddle 1 will rise by the force of the spring 15. When the lever 17 is released when a predetermined height is reached, the stopper 7 engages with the stop groove 6 and the saddle is fixed.

Then, if you sit back on the saddle and pedal again, your knees will straighten and you can ride easily. When stopping the bicycle and getting off the bicycle, the rider squeezes the lever 17 again, and the stopper 7 is released, and the saddle descends under the weight of the rider to a low position, allowing the rider's toes to touch the ground and safely getting off the bike. If you release the lever 17 before getting off the bicycle, the saddle will be fixed in a low position, so you can ride it as it is for the first time. A shock absorber is installed at the bottom of the saddle post, so your body will not receive any shock. As described above, a bicycle equipped with the present invention enables safe and efficient pedaling, and has the effect of doubling the enjoyment of long distance cycling.
