特開昭62−234555号公報などが挙げられる.す
なわち、これらの従来例においては,流し台の厨芥投入
口の下部に連設されるケーシング内に粉砕メJと脱水か
ごとを同軸的に設け、投棄される厨芥を粉砕刃にて粉砕
するとともに,それに含まれている水を高速回転する脱
水かごにて脱水したのち、ダストボックス内に回収する
ようにしている. 〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕 しかしながら上記従来例では,まず第一に安全性の面で
問題がある.すなわち,原理的にはミキサーと同じであ
るため,手を入れたりすると大怪我をするおそれがある
.このような事故を防ぐには二重,三重の安全対策が必
要であり,コストアップは避けられない.また,誤って
スプーンやナイフなどの金馬を投棄した場合,粉砕刃が
欠けたり、その食器にも傷がつくなどの欠点がある.さ
らには、粉砕刃および脱水かごはともに高速回転するた

例〕 以下、この発明の実施例を添付図面を参照しながら詳細
に説明する. 第1図に示されているように、この厨芥処理装置は、流
し台1の底部に設けられる厨芥投入口2を有する筒状の
厨芥受け容器3を備えている.この厨芥受け容器3内に
は金馬もしくは合或樹脂からなる水切りかご4が着脱自
在に収納されている.厨芥受け容器3の底部には、同部
分から斜め上方に向けて所定の角度で立ち上がる搬送パ
イプ5が設けられている.搬送パイプ5の下端には、厨
芥受け容器3の底部に開口する厨芥取入口5aが形成さ
れており、また、同搬送バイプ5の上端には、厨芥排出
口5bが設けられている.上記搬送パイプ5内には,ス
クリュー6が回転可能に挿通されている.また,搬送パ
イプ5の下端側にはスクリュー6を回転邸動ずるモータ
7が取付けられている.もっとも、モータ7は搬送パイ
プ5の上端側に設けられてもよい. 搬送バイプ5の厨芥取入口5aのまわりに水切りかご4

ュー6もそれに対応して厨芥物移送方向に向けて漏斗状
に収束する形状になされている,また.この例によると
.同中継バイプ22内には、スクリュー6の螺旋翼との
間で厨芥を切断するカッターバイプ23が設けられてい
