【発明の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
この発明は厨芥処理装置に関し、さらに詳しく言えば,
炊事場からでる厨芥を水切りしながらゴミ袋などに直接
投棄することができる厨芥処理装置に関するものである
.
〔従来の技術〕
厨芥を粉砕して脱水する厨芥処理装置はすでに数多く提
案されており、例えば特公昭59−26345号公報や
特開昭62−234555号公報などが挙げられる.す
なわち、これらの従来例においては、流し台の厨芥投入
口の下部に連設されるケーシング内に粉砕刃と脱水かご
とを同軸的に設け,投棄される厨芥を粉砕刃にて粉砕す
るとともに,それに含まれている水を高速回転する脱水
かごにて脱水したのち,ダストボックス西に111収す
るようにしている.
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
しかしながら上記従来例では、まず第一に安全性の面で
問題がある.すなわち,原理的にはミキサーと同じであ
るため,手を入れたりすると大怪我をするおそれがある
.このような事故を防ぐには二重,三重の安全対策が必
要であり,コストアップは避けられない.また、誤って
スプーンやナイフなどの金filGを投棄した場合、粉
砕刃が欠けてしまい,その補修にかなりの手間と費用が
かかるなどの欠点がある.さらには,粉砕刃および脱水
かとはともに高速回転するため,大きな騒音が発生する
.
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
上記課題を解決するため,この発明においては,流し台
の底部に設けられる厨芥投入口を有する筒状の厨芥受け
容器と,この受け容器の底部から所定の角度をもって上
方に立ち上がり、その下端に厨芥取入口を有するととも
に、上端には厨芥排出口が形成された搬送パイプと,同
搬送パイプ内に挿通されたスクリューおよび同スクリュ
ーを回転させる翻動手段と、受け容器の底部に連通され
、同容器内の廃水を排出する排水パイプとを備えてなり
,上記スクリューの邸動手段は可逆回転型モータからな
るとともに,同モータを一時的に逆転させる逆転スイッ
チを心していることを特徴としている.
この場合において,好ましくは逆転スイッチにはタイマ
ーが付設され、同タイマーはこの逆転スイッチの投入時
から所定時間経過後に上記モータの停止信号を出力する
ようにするとよい.さらには,モータの逆転時における
回転トルクは正転時のlIJ1転トルクよりも大きく設
定されているとよい.〔作 用〕
厨芥受け容器内に投棄された厨芥は、スクリューの回転
によって厨芥取入口より搬送パイプ内に取り入れられ、
同スクリューによって厨芥排出口に向けて搬送される.
この搬送過程において、厨芥に含まれている水が水切り
され,しかるのち,厨芥は厨芥排出口から予め同厨芥排
出口にセットされているゴミ袋内に排出される.この場
合において、例えば厨芥の詰まりゃスプーンなどの異物
の噛み込みにより、スクリューがロックされた場合には
、逆転スイッチを投入してスクリューを逆転させること
により、モータを過負荷から保護し得るとともに,請ま
り現象なども解消することができる.
〔実 施 例〕
以下、この発明の実施例を添付図而を参照しながら詳細
に説明する.
第1図に示されているように、この厨芥処理装置は、流
し台lの底部に設けられる厨芥投入口2を有する筒状の
厨芥受け容器3を備えている.この厨芥受け容器3西に
は金成もしくは合或樹脂からなる水切りかと4が着脱自
在に収納されている.厨芥受け容器3の底部には、同部
分から斜め上方に向けて所定の角度で立ち上がる搬送パ
イブ5が設けられている.搬送パイプ5の下端には,厨
芥受け容器3の底部に開口する厨芥取入口5aが形成さ
れており,また,同搬送バイプ5の上端には、厨芥排出
口5bが設けられている.この実施例によると,水切り
かご4の底部が厨芥取入口5aのまわりに1伍合するよ
うになっている.第2口を参照すると,厨芥受け容器3
の底部には、同容器内の廃水を排出する排水パイプ12
が連通されている.この場合において,排水バイプ12
には厨芥受け容沿3内に貯溜される廃水の液面レベルを
厨芥取入口5aよりも上に保持するためのトラップ12
aが設けられている.
搬送パイプ5西には、スクリュー6が回転可能に柿通さ
れている.また,搬送パイプ5の下端側にはスクリュー
6をtIIt転邸動ずるモータ7が取付けられている.
もつとも,モータ7は搬送パイプ5の上端側に設けられ
てもよい。この場合、モータ7は可逆回転型モータであ
って、その逆転時におけるII′11転トルクは正転時
のIP1転トルクよりも大きく設定されている.このよ
うな回転トルクの設定は、例えば主巻線と補助巻線を適
宜選択することにより行える.
ここで、この装置の電気的結線図が示されている第4図
を参照すると、上記モータ7には逆転スイッチ3lが付
設されている.この逆転スイッチ3lは補助巻線側端子
に接続された正転側接点a−aと逆転側接点b−bとを
有し,切換端子32が図示実線時には正転、図示鎖線時
には逆転となる.また、この逆転スイッチ31には,同
スイッチ31が投入されてから所定時間後にメインスイ
ッチ33をオフとするタイマー34が設けられている.
なお,この結線図において,参照符号35は運転時間設
定用タイマーのタイマースイッチ、36は運転状態を表
示するランプである.
搬送パイプ5の厨芥排出口5bには,樹脂フイルムから
なるゴミ袋8が例えば筒状をなす取付具9によって取付
けられている.この装置においてゴミ袋8は例えば流し
台1の前面に設けられているケースl3内に置かれるが
、この場合、同ケースl3はその背面側の下部に設けら
れているヒンジl4にて揺動可能に支持されている.ま
た、同ケースl3の背面側上部には磁性体プレートl5
が設けられており、装置の筐体側には同プレート15を
相手方とする磁石16と,ケースl3の傾き角度によっ
てオンオンするマイクロスイッチl7とが配置されてい
る.第1図には図示されていないが,ケース13には,
そのM13aの開閉を検出する蓋開閉検出スイッチが設
けられている.同着開閉検出スイッチは第4図の結線図
において参照符号36で示されており,例えばゴミ袋8
の膨らみによってM 13 aが押し開かれた場合オフ
となり,モータ7が停止される.すなわち,上記マイク
ロスイッチl7にてゴミ袋8の重量が検出され、また、
M開閉検出スイッチ36にてゴミ袋8の容積が検出され
るようになっており,そのいずれかがオフとなった時、
モータ7が停止される.
また、この装置は厨芥投入口2に着脱自在に取付けられ
るフィルタ20の有無を検出するフィルタ検出手段を備
えている.その一例が示されている第3図を参照すると
、同フィルタ検出手段はフィルタ20側に設けられたマ
グネット2lと,同マグネット21と対向するように厨
芥受け容器3側に設けられた磁気近接スイッチ22とを
備えてなる.フィルタ20が厨芥投入口2から外される
と、磁気近接スイッチ22が例えばオフとなり、モータ
7の運転が惇止される.このフィルタ検出手段としては
、種々のスイッチが適用呵能であるが、上記のスイッチ
の他にマイクロスイッチ、光センサー、超音波センサー
,静電センサーなどが例示される.なお、この磁気近接
スイッチ22の回路上の配置については第4図の結線図
を参照されたい.次に、この装置の作用について説明す
る.まず,ケース13のM 13 aを開けてゴミ袋8
を取付具9にて搬送パイプ5の厨芥排出口5bに取付け
蓋13aを閉じる.このとき,ケースl3には殆ど重量
がかけられていないため、同ケースl3は磁石l6にて
正規の姿勢に吸若保持されている.したがって、蓋開閉
検出スイッチ36およびマイクロスイッチl7はともに
オンとなっている.この状態はゴミ袋8内に所定重量の
厨芥がたまるか、もしくはゴミ袋8のゴミ収容容積が所
定容積になるまで保持される.厨芥投入口2より厨芥を
投入し、メインスイッチ33(スタート釦)をオンにし
てモータ7によりスクリュー6を1!11転させると、
厨芥はそのスクリュ一〇により搬送パイプ5内を搬送さ
れ、その途中で水切りされたのち、厨芥排出口5bから
ゴミ袋8西に排出される.大きな厨芥は厨芥取入口5a
の縁とスクリュー6の刃とにより細かくカットされて搬
送パイプ5内に取り込まれる.このようにして、厨芥は
厨芥排出口5bからゴミ袋8内に排出されるのであるが
,その重量が重くなると、ケースl3が磁石16の吸着
力に抗して装置手前側に傾く.これにより、マイクロス
イッチ17がオフとなり,モータ7が停止するとともに
,図示しない例えばブザーなどの報知手段にて、ゴミ袋
8が一杯になったことを知らせる.重量よりも先にゴミ
袋8が膨らんで[13aが押し開かれた場合にも同様に
モータ7が停止される.
ところで、運転中に例えばスプーンなどの異物の投入や
制限量以上の厨芥の投入によりスクリュー6にl1タま
りが生じ,同スクリュー6がロックされた場合には、逆
転スイッチ3lを押せばよい.これにより、モータ7が
逆転すると同時にタイマー34が働き,所定時間後にメ
インスイッチ33がオフとなってモータ7が停止され、
モータ7およびスクリュー6が過負荷から保護される.
なお,この例において、逆転スイッチ31は再度メイン
スイッチ33が投入された時点で正転側接点a−aに復
帰するようになっているが、メインスイッチ33のオフ
時点で復帰させるようにしてもよい.また,運転中にフ
ィルタ20が外されると,フィルタ検出手段である例え
ば上記磁気近接スイッチ22がオフとなり、上記と同様
にモータ7が停止される.フィルタ20が外されている
状態では、メインスイッチ33を押してもモータ7は起
動しない.この装置によると、厨芥取入口5aは厨芥受
け容器3内に貯溜されている廃水内に沈まされているた
め、ゴミ袋8内に発生する悪臭や異臭が流し台1側に逆
流することはない.
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように,この発明によれば,スクリューに
よるものであるため、従来の粉砕刃に比べて安全である
とともに,運転音が静粛である.加えて,この発明にお
いてはスクリューを回転させるモータの逆転スイッチが
設けられているため,モータおよびスクリューを不測の
