Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve germination or growth of seedlings and remarkably improve working environment by placing water in a tank provided with a conveyor, placing nursery boxes containing a bed therein on the conveyor and then infiltrating the water into the bed during movement thereof. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a tank 1 having the opened top is provided with a conveyor 4 and water is then placed in the above-mentioned tank. Each nursery box 3 containing a bed 2 placed therein is subsequently placed and moved on the aforementioned conveyor 4 to dip the lower part of the nursery box 3 in the water during movement thereof and infiltrate the water into the interior of the bed 2 in the nursery box 3. Thereby, good germination and growth of seedlings are carried out without requiring sprinkling of water from the bed 2 thereof.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) As in the past, when water is poured onto a floor from above, if the floor is made of soil, the impact of the water from above causes the soil particles to collapse and the air content to decrease. This may be unfavorable for germination and seedling growth.

In addition, water poured from above would scatter all over the place, creating a poor working environment even when artificial beds were used.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve these problems, the present invention includes a conveyor 4 for moving a tank 1 containing water and a seedling box 3 containing a bed 2. This is a seedbed irrigation device characterized in that it is installed in a tank 1 so that the lower part of a moving seedling box 3 is immersed in water and the water seeps into the bed 2 from below.

Furthermore, if water is poured onto the floor 2 from above, the water will spread around the floor 2, but if this is done, the water will be scattered even more widely, making the working environment even worse. In contrast, in the present invention, water is not poured from above, so water is hardly scattered around the device. Therefore, the working environment is greatly improved.

Place the seedling box 3 on the left end of the Shijin device 7 facing in the long direction. Then, this seedling box 3 is sent to the right by a conveyor 5 (FIG. 1), and after soil is poured into it, the surface is slightly pressurized to form a bed 2. When this seedling box 3 is conveyed by a conveyor 6 and passes through a seeding device 8, seeds are sown on the floor 2, and soil is placed on top of the seeds by a soil covering device 9.
