The pen bodies used in such writing instruments are mainly made of bundles of various fibers hardened with resin etc.
When supplying ink to the pen body, the tip of the pen body tends to become damaged due to repeated pressure operations to activate the valve body, and the fibers become loose, making it difficult to obtain the desired handwriting. Furthermore, when writing in fine print is desired, this problem becomes more pronounced due to the diameter and strength of the pen body itself, which is particularly undesirable.

In recent years, based on this situation, liquid writing instruments have been seen that use a pen body made of synthetic resin such as polyacetal or polycarbonate, which has multiple ink guide channels of an appropriate cross-sectional shape radially extending through the shaft center. . In order to take ink into the pen body, it is necessary to drill an annular groove on the outside of the pen body so that all the ends of the ink guide path are exposed, but on the other hand, this annular groove causes A problem arises in that the strength of the pen body itself is significantly deteriorated. That is, the entire end of the ink guide path that penetrates the pen body is exposed in this annular groove, and the pen body itself has a kind of constriction despite its small diameter. Therefore, when the pen body is pressed, the load is concentrated on the annular groove, making the pen body prone to breakage, making it difficult to guarantee its strength, and causing a fatal defect as a liquid writing instrument.

(Means for solving the problem) This invention was made based on the above knowledge,
It is of course possible to make it easier to take ink into the pen body by making a simple modification to the synthetic resin pen body, which has a plurality of ink guiding paths of appropriate cross-sectional shapes radially extending through the shaft center. The purpose of the present invention is to improve the strength of the pen body itself as much as possible, and to provide an excellent liquid-type writing instrument that is particularly suitable for use in writing fine characters.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a liquid writing instrument according to the present invention, in which a pen body 1 made of synthetic resin such as polyacetal or polycarbonate is disposed within a front shaft 2 so as to be movable back and forth. The pen body 1 has a total of six long ink guide paths 1a and short ink guide paths 1b alternately radially extending through the axis at intervals of 60 degrees, and an annular groove 1c is bored at the rear of the pen body 1. Set up
In the annular groove 1c portion, only the ends of the three long ink guiding paths 1a are exposed as shown in FIG. Reference numeral 3 is a rear shaft having an ink storage chamber 4, and an opening of the rear shaft 3 has a spring receiver 5,
The valve seat 6 and furthermore the front shaft 2 are fixed, and the valve body 7 is always pressed against the valve seat 6 by the spring body 9 stretched between the valve rod 8 having the valve body 7 and the spring receiver 5. At the same time, the pen body 1 connected to the valve lever 8 is urged forward. Reference numeral 10 denotes an ink-containing liquid such as urethane disposed within the front shaft 2, and is in contact with at least the annular groove 1c of the pen body 1.

(Function) When writing with the above configuration, by pressing the pen body 1 against the elastic force of the spring body 9,
The valve body 7 is opened to the valve seat 6, and the ink in the ink storage chamber 4 is released through the gap caused by the opening of the valve body 7.
After passing through the ink-containing liquid 10, the ink is taken in through the long ink guide path 1a in the annular groove 1c, and can be used for writing by the capillary action inside the pen body 1. In this case, even if the pressing operation of the pen body 1 is repeated many times, only a part of the ink guiding path is exposed in the annular groove 1c as shown in FIG. We can guarantee a result that is much better than the original, and the ink pen body 1
There will be no problem when introducing it into the interior.

Note that the cross-sectional shape of the ink guiding path of the pen body and the opening/closing mechanism of the valve body in the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and various known ones can be adopted, but they are sufficient to achieve the intended purpose. If possible, it is particularly preferable to use an annular groove in which ink guiding paths are alternately exposed and those that are not exposed, as in the pen body shown in the above embodiment. This is because the load when pressing the pen body or writing is evenly distributed.

(Effect of the invention) As described above, the present invention provides a liquid writing instrument in which the valve body is actuated by pressing the pen body, and ink is supplied from the ink storage chamber to the pen body.
The pen body is made of a synthetic resin in which a plurality of ink guiding paths having an appropriate cross-sectional shape are radially penetrated through the shaft center,
Since the end of the ink guiding path is a liquid writing instrument consisting of one part exposed to the annular groove formed in the pen body and the other part not exposed, deterioration of the pen body can be suppressed, and thereby the pen body can be prevented from deteriorating. It is possible to make the diameter of the body itself as small as possible, which makes it suitable for writing in fine print, and provides a liquid writing instrument that has excellent advantages in terms of strength as well as supply of ink to the pen body. be.
