ラーの強度や剛性を高めることを目的とするもの
である。

と、ダツシユパネルアツパの前端近傍まで前方に
延長する延長部とに一体的に分岐され、上記イン
ナパネルの延長部上端がダツシユパネルアツパに
おいてカウルサイドアツパとの接合部に、上記ア
ウタパネルの延長部上端がダツシユパネルアツパ
においてホイールエプロンレインフオースメント
との接合部にそれぞれ接合され、このインナパネ
ルとアウタパネルの延長部はダツシユパネルアツ
パとの接合部の下方で結合されるとともに、その
両延長部の前部は接合されて閉塞され上記ダツシ
ユパネルアツパとによつて上記上側閉断面に沿つ
て前後方向に延び該ダツシユパネルアツパで上側
閉断面と仕切られた下側閉断面構造が形成したこ
とを特徴とする。

れる。フロントピラー2は、上部ピラー3と、そ

なり、上部ピラー3は、第3図に示す上部ピラー
インナと、第4図に示す上部ピラーアウタ24に
よつて閉断面構造を形成するように構成される。
上部ピラーアウタ24の下部は内方に段下げされ
ヒンジピラー14の部分ではヒンジピラーインナ
25になるとともに、その下端では外側に再び段
下げされサイドシル16のアウタ16aとなるよ
うに、一枚の金属板をプレス成形したものであ
る。サイドシル16は、上部ピラーアウタ24と
一体成形されたアウタ16aと、その内側に固着
されるインナ(図示せず)とで閉断面構造をつく
る。ヒンジピラー14は上記ヒンジピラーインナ
25と第5図に示すヒンジピラーアウタ26によ
つて閉断面構造を形成するように構成される。カ
ウルアツパパネル4の形状は第6図に、ダツシユ
パネルアツパ8の形状は第7図に、カウルサイド
アツパ10の形状は第8図に、ホイールエプロン
レインフオースメント12の形状は第9図にそれ
ぞれ示される。また、カウル両側端附近において
は、第2図に示すようにダツシユパネルアツパ8
とカウルサイドアツパ10とホイールエプロンレ
インフオースメント12とによつてフロントピラ
ー2から前方に伸びる閉断面構造を構成し、さら
に、ダツシユパネルアツパの下部に、ダツシユパ
ネルアツパ8と上部ピラーインナ22の前方延長
部22′とヒンジピラーアウタ26の前方延長部
26′とによつてフロントピラー2から前方に伸
びる閉断面構造を構成している。
