Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent resticking of dust to color paper regardless of the execution of a rapid processing by respectively specifying the transporting speed of the photosensitive material to be processed and the time for immersion in a color developing soln. and providing a mechanism for cleaning up the processing liquid. CONSTITUTION:The mechanism for cleaning up the processing liquid is provided to the automatic developing machine having the constitution in which the transporting speed of the photosensitive material to be processed is 5 to 100cm/ min and the time for immersion in the color developing soln. in at least a color development processing is <=30 seconds. The processing liquid housed in a processing liquid tank 20 is supplied to the processing tank 10 through a supply pipe 22, etc., by driving of a feed pump 21. The processing liquid overflowing from the processing tank 10 or the processing liquid discharged from the processing tank 10 is released from the upper part of the processing tank 20 through a discharge pipe 23. The resticking of dust to color paper is prevented in this way regardless of the execution of the rapid processing.

[Prior Art] In large automatic processors used in large-scale intensive processing facilities called large labs and relatively small automatic processors called minilabs, processing liquid is stored in a processing tank. The photosensitive material is placed in a storage rack, guided to a processing tank using a transport rack, etc., and then immersed in a processing liquid for processing.
It's normal. Moreover, in large-scale automatic processors for large-scale processing for commercial use, a processing liquid purification mechanism using a filter mechanism as shown in Fig. 4 is installed in the middle of the processing liquid circulation path to remove suspended matter in the processing liquid. There is.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] Fine dust that adheres to the photographic light-sensitive material to be processed, such as chips generated when cutting the leading edge of photographic paper or both sites, and airborne particles. If floating dust or the like is mixed in the processing solution, it will damage the image surface and adversely affect the processing performance. In the method of immersion treatment in which a large amount of processing solution is stored in a tank type processing solution, most of the suspended matter is discharged from the processing tank along with the overflowing processing solution due to the specific gravity. Direct contact with the photographic material can be avoided to a large extent, but floating objects can come into contact with the image surface of the photographic material and damage it, especially in processing systems where the processing tank is slit-shaped. There is a big risk.

On the other hand, in small automatic developing machines that have a small daily throughput and are used at different frequencies, the conveyance speed of the color vapor to be processed is less than 5 cm+/++in, and the immersion time in the color developer in the color development process is also short. Since it takes about 45 seconds to 3 minutes, there is no risk that dust etc. attached to the color paper will be removed and attached to the color vapor. However, silver halide color, which has a color development process and a bleach-fixing process, In an automatic developing machine for photosensitive materials, the speed of conveying the photosensitive material to be processed is 5 to 100 ci/min, and at least the immersion time in a color developer in the color development step is 30 seconds or less. It has been found that the dust removed from the color vapor to be treated tends to re-adhere to the color vapor.

[Function] According to the present invention, in an automatic developing machine for silver halide color photographic light-sensitive materials having a color development step and a bleach-fixing step, the conveyance speed of the light-sensitive material to be processed is 5 to 100 cm/+i.
In an automatic developing machine having a configuration in which the immersion time in the color developing solution is at least 30 seconds or less in the color development step, a processing solution purification mechanism is installed, so that even though the color paper is processed quickly, dust and dirt can be removed from the color paper. Since the water level of the processing liquid returned from the processing tank to the processing liquid tank is located above the filter, most of the suspended C mixed in is transferred to the compartment on the front stage of the filter. The processing liquid floats inside the filter, and the processing liquid descends or moves through the filter due to its own weight, and the processing liquid is filtered without clogging the filter.
