励起してレーザ光として出力するレーザロツドと
を有する固体レーザ装置において、前記レーザロ
ツドは、ネオジムイオン(Nd3+)とクロムイ
オン(Cr3+)をドープしたガドニウム・スカ
ンジウム・ガリウムガーネツト(GSGG)単結
晶よりなり、前記励起部と前記レーザロツドとの
間にフイルター部を設け、前記フイルター部は前
記励起光のうちの波長330nm以下の紫外線を
カツトすることにより前記レーザロツドの過渡吸
収を抑え且つ増感することを特徴とする固体レー
ザ装置。 2 励起光を照射する励起部と該励起光を受けレ
ーザ光として出力するレーザロツドとを設ける空
間を規定し且つ前記励起光を反射して前記レーザ
ロツドに入射させる反射面を有する箱体を有する
固体レーザ装置において、前記箱体は前記反射面
に紫外線を反射するめつきを有することを特徴と
