The finiteness of petroleum resources has become a major social problem, and the price of kerosene has risen with each oil shock. For ordinary households, which have relied on kerosene as the cheapest fuel, the fuel has become the primary source of household spending. It has been a long time since Japan has come to account for a fairly high proportion of the population. For this reason, each household has become a master of energy-saving measures, devising various ways to conserve fuel. However, as long as kerosene stove-based heating equipment is used as a heating method, the results are not very promising, and ultimately, unless a heating method that does not rely on oil is selected, it will not be an effective solution. I'm starting to realize what I'm saying. Therefore, in recent years, solar systems and means of utilizing geothermal energy have been considered, and although some of them have begun to move from the experimental stage to the practical stage, at this stage they are very much within the reach of the common people. The reality is that they are not cheap and are unlikely to help ordinary households save money on fuel anytime soon.

Therefore, with this idea, it is possible to reuse waste wood that is left to rot in the fields and mountains as a natural resource, without having to burn it inefficiently or requiring a large amount of firewood like in the past. We have endeavored to develop and research a wood-burning stove with a new structure, and have finally succeeded in its completion and practical application, and we would like to present the results here.

That is, inside the stove body 1, which has the fuel inlet 11 at the front and the chimney connection port 13 at the back, from the lower surface of the fuel inlet 11, through the inner part of the combustion chamber 14, to the vicinity of the upper surface of the fuel inlet 11. The top plate 17 of the stove body 1 is equipped with a curved heating plate 2 shaped like an inverted “tsu”.
and the curved heating plate 2, a smoke circulation path 3 is formed from the inner upper surface of the fuel inlet 11 to the chimney connection port 13 via the upper part of the combustion chamber 14 partitioned by the curved heating plate 2. It is a wood stove made of wood.

The stove body 1 is a conventional simple steel plate, so-called Daruma stove.
Alternatively, there is no problem with box-shaped ones made of somewhat high-grade cast metal, but at least the parts other than the front fuel inlet 11, air volume adjustment opening 12, and the chimney connection opening 13 at the innermost part should be sealed as completely as possible. It is desirable to have a horizontal box-like structure. However, the above-mentioned sealed structure is more convenient if the sealed state is completely sealed, and if necessary, an ash removal port (as shown in the figure) is installed below the fuel input port 11 or the air volume adjustment port 12. In the embodiment, it also serves as the air volume adjustment port 12).

The curved heating plate 2 installed inside the stove body 1 starts at the lower surface of the fuel inlet 11 of the stove body 1 and extends toward the inner part of the stove body 1 with a slight upward slope. It curves upward 21 and inverts while leaving some space between it and further reaches the vicinity of the top surface of the fuel inlet 11, and is shaped like an inverted ``Tsu'' upside down in its longitudinal section. It directly touches the flame in the combustion chamber 14 of the stove body 1 and is heated to a high temperature, and also functions to guide the flame's tip and the flow of smoke toward the inner upper surface of the fuel inlet 11. Therefore, it is necessary to use a material that is as heat-resistant and strong as possible.

In the example shown in the drawings, the inner plates 19, 19 are arranged in parallel inside the side plates 18, 18 of the stove body 1 to realize a more complete double structure, but this is not necessarily the case. There is no need to limit the examples.

The smoke circulation path 3 is formed between the above-mentioned top plate 17 of the stove body 1 and the upper surface edge of the curved heating plate 2 from the curved part 21, and is formed between the upper surface edge 2 of the curved heating plate 2.
2 is an inlet, and the same curved heating plate 2 is connected from inside the combustion chamber 14.
This is a space in which flames and smoke that have been forcibly guided in a curved manner along the inner surface are allowed to circulate up to the chimney connection port 17 at the innermost part of the stove body 1.

That is, in the illustrated example, in order to increase the circulation efficiency of the flame and smoke guided to the smoke circulation path 3, the space between the upper edge 22 of the curved heating plate 2 and the upper side of the fuel inlet 11 of the stove body 1 is This is an example in which a guide plate 23 is interposed and formed in the smoke passage 3, so that flame and smoke are smoothly drawn in and sucked into the smoke circulation path 3 direction.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, the inside of the smoke circulation path 3 is divided into two stages by a partition plate 24, and the space 25 above the partition plate 24 is used for combustion only when the opening/closing lid 11a of the fuel inlet 11 is opened. It has a structure that communicates with the chamber 14 (when closed, the entrance to the upper space 25 is closed by a closing plate bent at the upper edge of the opening/closing lid 11a). Smoke, which tends to leak into the room from above the fuel inlet 11, is guided from inside the upper part of the fuel inlet 11 to the chimney connection port 13 via the space 25.

The wood stove of this invention, which has the above-described structure, puts firewood as fuel into the combustion chamber 14, ignites it by lighting the firewood appropriately, and slides the air volume adjustment lid 12a when the firewood is sure to ignite.
When the air volume adjustment port 12 is narrowed down to the minimum possible level, the intake air volume is at least directly heated by the flame to the curved heating plate 2, the temperature inside the fuel chamber 14 is maintained at a high temperature, and the fuel itself is heated to a very high temperature. Since it is maintained in a state where it is easy to burn, it can continue to burn reliably and for a long time even in a slightly oxygen-deficient state, and the fuel consumed per unit time is significantly greater than that of conventional wood stoves. It will be less than that.

On the other hand, the flame and smoke of the wood that continues to burn in the combustion chamber 14 are forced by the curved heating plate 2 to the fuel input port 1.
1, and enters into the smoke circulation path 3 from the edge 22 of the upper surface of the curved heating plate 2. Then, because the temperature inside the smoke circulation path 3 is extremely high due to the heated curved heating plate 2, the smoke and some of the flames that would have previously been released from the chimney are Once again, the smoke is almost completely burned in the high-temperature heated smoke circulation path 3, leaving almost no incompletely burned parts. This improves the combustion environment in the combustion chamber 14, enhances the heat radiation effect from the stove body 1, and generates a high amount of heat for a long time with low fuel consumption.

The airflow that reaches the chimney connection port 13 via this smoke circulation path 3 is almost completely burned out, resulting in nearly transparent exhaust with a faint smoke color, and there is no risk of causing soot pollution to the neighborhood. In addition, there will be no chance of fires caused by flying sparks.

These effects are such that, as in the embodiment shown in the drawings, the smoke circulation path 3 is connected to the stove body 1 and the top plate 17.
Instead of forming only the curved heating plate 2 and the curved heating plate 2, if the inside is partitioned into two stages by inner plates 19, 19 and a guide plate 23 is combined, the smoke can be smoothly guided to the smoke circulation path 3. At the same time, the space 25 on the upper side of the same place exhibits a heat insulating effect and reduces the temperature drop of the induced flame and smoke.
It becomes even more effective.

In addition, the upper space 25 of the smoke circulation path 3, which is partitioned into two stages, sucks in flames and smoke that flow into the room from the fuel inlet 11 when the opening/closing cover 11a of the fuel inlet 11 is opened. Chimney connection port 13
This also has the additional effect of preventing flames and smoke from leaking into the room, making it possible to realize an extremely ideal wood-burning stove.

As mentioned above, this device can maintain a very high temperature inside the combustion chamber by heating the curved heating material and reburning in the smoke circulation path, so it can be used in a stove that is almost airtight and almost deficient in oxygen. Even when it is inside the main unit, firewood and other fuels can continue to burn reliably and for a long time, and unlike traditional wood stoves, they can be burned multiple times throughout the day to keep the fire going. You can completely eliminate the hassle of having to keep replenishing the water. As a result, it is so convenient to handle that it does not require much trouble compared to heating appliances such as kerosene heaters.

In this way, although it is convenient to handle and consumes little fuel, its heating effect is different from petroleum-based and other recent heating appliances, and its soft heat dissipation effect warms the entire body from the core. , you can expect a very ideal heating effect.
