Conventional doorless door vehicles have a door weather strip attached to the opening edge of the vehicle body, and when the door is closed, the peripheral edge of the door glass comes into direct contact with the weather strip, sealing the interior and exterior of the vehicle interior. It is designed to do so. That is, as shown in FIG. 2, which is a cross-sectional view of FIG. 1, the weather strip consists of a base portion 1 and a hollow lip 2.
A stay 4 is provided in the hollow portion 3 of the hollow lip 2 approximately parallel to the lip support wall 2' to obtain an appropriate sealing reaction force. It is set as. However, in the case of this conventional weather strip, when the door glass G comes into contact with the hollow lip 2 when the door is closed, the sealing surface S is deformed so as to fall inward from the connection point P with the stay 4, causing the car to become damaged. Room R side door glass G
There is a problem in that a gap δ is generated between the peripheral end portion of the sealing surface S and the sealing surface S, impairing the sealing performance.

In order to deal with the above problem, the middle part of the stay 4 is bent into a dogleg shape as shown in Fig. 3, and the bent part
There is also a configuration in which the tip of a is connected to the lip support wall 2'' in the direction in which the door glass G comes into contact.
When the door glass G comes into contact, the sealing surface S deforms as shown by S' and a gap δ' is likely to occur, resulting in sealing only at the corner surfaces of the door glass G, resulting in poor sealing. There is. In order to eliminate such a gap δ', a configuration has been proposed in which a bridge 7 connecting the stay 4 and the lip support wall 2'' is provided as shown in FIG. Sometimes, due to compressive deformation, the seal reaction force becomes excessively large and the door may not be able to close completely. In other words, from the beginning of the closing load applied to the weather strip of the door, the seal reaction force becomes excessively large. Since a deflection load is generated, the deflection load causes an increase in the seal reaction force.

Furthermore, due to installation errors during vehicle manufacturing or causes caused by the structure of the vehicle body, the upper end of the door glass G cannot reach the normal height when the door is closed, and the door closes at a slightly lowered position. In this case, too, there is a problem in that sealing is performed only at the corners of the door glass G, resulting in poor sealing.

The present invention was made in order to eliminate such conventional drawbacks, and it increases the holding rigidity of the peripheral edge of the door glass without increasing the sealing reaction force, and eliminates the gap δ or The object of the present invention is to provide a door weather strip that prevents the occurrence of δ' and improves sealing performance by achieving surface sealing even if the upper end of the door glass G does not reach the normal position. It is.

A is formed, and a stay 4 is provided, the other end of which is connected to a lip support wall 2'' located on the side abutting the peripheral edge of a door glass G, which will be described later.

At the midpoint of this stay 4 and above near the dogleg-shaped bent portion 4a, there is a lip 8 that is integrally molded with the stay 4 and projects toward the outside of the vehicle interior, that is, toward the door glass G and the sealing surface S. is provided in the vicinity of the dogleg-shaped bent portion 4a or on the lower side of the bent portion 4a, and is integrally molded with the stay 4 so as to extend in the R direction of the vehicle interior, that is, in the opposite direction to the S direction. According to the door weather strip having such an embodiment structure, when the peripheral edge of the door glass G properly contacts the sealing surface S of the hollow lip 2 during normal door closing, the closing load of the door glass G is reduced. As a result, the lip support wall 2'' constituting the sealing surface S is deformed to the solid line position shown in FIG. 6, and the inner surface of the lip support wall 2'' comes into contact with the tip of the lip 8. Until this state is reached, the bending load of the hollow lip 2 against the door glass G is hardly generated, and therefore, there is no sealing reaction force, so that the closing state of the door proceeds extremely smoothly. In the state shown in FIG. 6, that is, after the sealing surface S starts to come into close contact with the window glass G, the tip of the lip 8 that is located above near the bent portion 4a formed on the stay 4 and protrudes toward the outside of the vehicle interior. However, it acts to press the lip support wall 2'' from the inside of the hollow portion 3, thereby further increasing the adhesion between the door glass G and the lip support wall 2''.

Next, as shown in FIG. 7, when the door glass G comes into contact with the sealing surface S of the hollow lip 2 at a slightly lowered position than at the normal position, the closing load of the door glass G causes the sealing surface to The lip support wall 2'' constituting the lip S is deformed to the solid line position shown in FIG. The tip of the lip 9, which is located below near the bent portion 4a where the stay 4 is formed and protrudes toward the interior of the vehicle, is
It acts to press the lip support wall 2' from inside the hollow part 3. Until this state is reached, the bending load of the hollow lip 2 on the door glass G is hardly generated, and the door closing state progresses extremely smoothly.

After the sealing surface S starts coming into close contact with the window glass G in the state shown in FIG. It is possible to further increase the adhesion between the lip support wall 2'' and the lip support wall 2''. Therefore, in both the examples shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the gap δ or δ' (see FIG. (See FIG. 3) and the sealing reaction force at the time of closing the door does not become excessively large, so the door closing operation can be performed satisfactorily.

As described above, according to the present invention, one end is connected to the base part in the hollow part of the hollow lip, a substantially dogleg-shaped bent part is formed in the middle part, and the other end is connected to the peripheral edge of the door glass. A stay is provided that is connected to the lip support wall located on the side where the lip comes into contact, and a stay that is integrally molded with the stay and extends toward the outside of the vehicle interior is provided at the midway point of the stay and above near the dogleg-shaped bent portion. By providing a protruding lip, and providing a lip that is integrally molded with the stay and protrudes toward the interior of the vehicle near the dogleg-shaped bent portion or on the lower side of the bent portion, In both cases where the wind panel is in regular contact with the weather strip and in which case the wind panel is in contact with the weather strip with its upper end slightly lowered, a The gap that tends to occur between the wind panel and weather strip is eliminated by the pressing force of the lip against each support wall, which is protruded from the upper and lower positions near the bent part of the stay to the outside of the vehicle and toward the interior of the vehicle. Since it has the effect of eliminating seal reaction force and does not increase the seal reaction force, it is particularly effective when applied to a door-less vehicle.
