ナーホツパに供給するトナーを収容したトナーカ
ートリツジと、 上記トナーカートリツジのトナー吐出用の下部
開口内に配備され、逆止弁を介して外部と連通可
能であつて内部に密封された気体の作用により膨
張して上記下部開口を閉鎖し、トナーカートリツ
ジ内からのトナーの落下を防止する風船状の栓と
、 上記トナーホツパに設けられ、該トナーホツパ
に装着された上記トナーカートリツジの逆止弁と
係合して該逆止弁を開放し、上記栓内部の気体を
外部へ流出させて上記栓を収縮させ、トナーカー
トリツジ内のトナーをトナーホツパ内に落下させ
る開栓部材とを具備してなるトナー供給装置にお
いて、 上記トナーカートリツジのトナーホツパへの装
着動作に伴つて上記開栓部材を移動させて上記逆
止弁を開放させる開栓機構を設けたことを特徴と
