  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 加熱ローラと、該加熱ローラに圧接する加
    圧ローラと、前記加熱ローラを所定の間隔を設け
    て覆う断熱カバーとを有する定着装置において、 前記断熱カバーを樹脂材料により形成するとと
    もに、前記断熱カバーを、少なくとも所定の隙間
    を有する二枚重ね構造としたことを特徴とする定
    着装置。 (2) 前記断熱カバーの隙間に冷却用の空気を送
    る送風手段を具えたことを特徴とする請求項(1)
    記載の定着装置。
