Abstract

PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain denim products having a pattern of marked individuality by drawing a pattern on denim cloth in a dyeing inhibitor and then immersing in the denim cloth in a dyeing solution. CONSTITUTION:A pattern is drawn on denim cloth in a dyeing inhibitor and then immersed in a dyeing solution to give a denim product showing a pattern marked individuality which has never hitherto existed at low cost. A pasty substance containing glair, vitellus or a mixture thereof is preferably used as the dyeing inhibitor.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method for creating patterns in denim products, mainly at the stage of raw fabric. Prior Art and Its Problems Today, denim clothing (also called ``blue jeans'') such as pants and jackets is in fashion. These are thick cotton fabrics, exclusively using dark blue for the warp and white thread for the weft, and are sewn from raw fabric woven in a twill or plain weave. Conventionally, in order to form patterns on these denim products by the so-called chemical wash method, the above-mentioned products were placed in a drum can, a large number of pumice stones soaked in calcium hypochlorite water were added, and both drums were washed during the day. By rubbing the pumice stone against the denim product, an irregular marbling pattern is created. On the other hand, in the so-called chemical bleaching method, such denim products are completely decolorized (i.e., bleached) by being soaked in, for example, calcium hypochlorite water for a predetermined period of time and agitated. ing. The conventional pattern obtained by the above chemical wash method is
It consists of numerous irregularly formed spots throughout the fabric. The latter chemical bleaching method can only uniformly bleach the fabric as a whole, and cannot freely create various unique patterns (i.e., designs). Therefore, the applicant has already proposed a method for creating unique patterns on denim products in Japanese Patent Application No. 1-1217. The invention of the above application is based on the fact that a paste-like substance containing egg white, egg yolk, or a mixture thereof has the effect of inhibiting bleaching of denim fabric. By discovering that it also has the effect of suppressing the dyeing of denim fabric, and making effective use of this effect,
The present invention has been completed, which makes it possible to create unique patterns on denim products. Means and Effects for Solving the Problems The present invention provides, firstly, drawing a desired pattern on denim fabric using a dyeing inhibitor, immersing the fabric in a dye solution for a predetermined period of time, then taking it out, and washing the fabric with water. Thus, this is a method for creating patterns for denim products, characterized in that the patterned portions are inhibited from being dyed and remain substantially in their original color; The fabric is soaked in a dye solution for a predetermined period of time, then taken out, and the fabric is washed with water, so that the dyeing of the areas to which the dye inhibitor has been adhered or impregnated is suppressed and almost the original color is obtained. This is a method for creating a pattern for denim products, characterized by the fact that a dyeing inhibitor is attached or impregnated with a thread, which is immersed in a dyeing solution for a predetermined period of time to be dyed, and the thread is used to create a pattern on denim fabric. A method for creating a pattern for a denim product, characterized in that the fabric is woven with water, the fabric is washed with water, and the dyeing of the area to which the dyeing inhibitor is attached or impregnated is suppressed and remains in substantially its original color. When attaching or impregnating a dyeing inhibitor at the yarn stage, there are cases where the dyeing inhibitor is attached or impregnated to the entire yarn, and cases where the dyeing inhibitor is attached or impregnated partially. The yarn to which the dyeing inhibitor has been attached or impregnated may be used for weaving denim fabric as is, or it may be dyed with indigo or the like and then used for weaving. ! ! ! A pattern appears on the denim fabric after dyeing and washing by interweaving the threads to which the color control agent has been attached or impregnated and the threads which have not. In other words, the dyeing inhibitor acts as a barrier for the fibers and undergoes dyeing, but the fibers themselves remain undyed after the dyeing process, so the dyeing inhibitor is washed away afterwards, causing damage to the denim fabric. A pattern will emerge.

It is well known to create patterns on fabrics by weaving the fabrics (mainly under computer control) using yarns of different colors, and the present invention also allows for the attachment or impregnation of dye inhibitors by this well-known method. You can use the thread to create patterns on denim fabric. In addition,
In that case, if you weave freely without controlling the weaving method,
Can create unpredictable and irregular patterns.

Furthermore, since the dyeing technique for denim fabric itself is well known, there is no need to explain the dyeing method in detail. Among the dye inhibitors that can be used are pasty substances, so-called glues, waxes, etc., containing egg whites or egg yolks or mixtures thereof, which impart resistance to the dyeing action of dyeing liquors on denim fabrics. .. The pasty substance is alcohol (
denim fabric (fiber) when mixed in methyl or ethyl)
This is preferable because it strengthens the penetration power. Moreover, alcohol also acts as a preservative. Additional preservatives may be added if necessary. Furthermore, by relatively increasing the amount of alcohol, the fluidity of the pasty substance increases and its permeability into fibers also increases. To draw a desired pattern on denim fabric, a brush, a brush, a screen print, etc. may be used depending on the hardness (ie, viscosity) of the dyeing inhibitor. In addition, in order to adjust the hardness of the dyeing inhibitor and to reduce the cost, it is recommended to add powdered bulking agents such as wheat flour, powdered egg shells, and ash. It goes without saying that the denim fabric provided with the pattern as described above must be subjected to washing, drying, and pressing steps in order to become the final product.

Example 1 First, a desired pattern was drawn on a white denim fabric using a dyeing inhibitor made of whipped egg white using a brush (not shown). The denim fabric, which had been given a pattern in this way, was dipped in a dark blue (e-color) dye and dyed, then taken out and washed with water. Initially, the entire denim fabric was dark blue due to the dyeing process, but the dyeing process was suppressed in the area where the design was drawn, and when washed with water, only the area with the design remained almost its original white color. The remaining. Example 2 Powdered egg white and egg shell particles were added to white denim fabric as a dye inhibitor along with wheat flour for industrial use.
They were mixed and stirred in (ethyl) alcohol and used to draw desired designs. This denim fabric was dyed pink through the same treatment as in Example 1, but only the patterned portion remained approximately in its original white color, resulting in a patterned denim fabric. Example 3 Denim fabric was woven so that the yarn impregnated with the dyeing inhibitor of Example 2 and the yarn not impregnated formed a stripe, dyed dark blue, and washed with water to obtain a denim fabric with a striped pattern. .. Effects of the Invention Since the present invention has the configuration described above, it is possible to easily create various unique and unique patterns on denim products that have not been seen on conventional denim products. This has the remarkable effect of being able to provide denim products that meet the needs of the modern market at low prices.
