[Prior Art] The sowing and raising of crops such as grains, vegetables, and flower petals is roughly divided into two methods: 1. Background Art. In other words, one method is the so-called direct sowing method, in which the seeds are sown directly in the field to germinate and grow. The other method is to first sow the seeds on a small area of seedling mat or seedling bed, germinate and raise the seedlings, and then grow the seedlings. This is a method of planting them in a field. In all of the above methods, sowing has been done manually, but as the number of agricultural workers decreases and ages, the importance of improving workability and efficiency has increased in recent years. In addition, in the past, the quality of seeds was uneven, so it became essential to sow more seeds than necessary, and after germination and seedlings, so-called thinning operations, in which high-quality seedlings were left and other seedlings were removed, were necessary. was. However, with the recent progress in biotechnology, the quality and germination rate of seeds have dramatically improved due to hybridization (F0 generation) of seeds, so there has been a strong demand for a significant reduction in the amount of sowing.

On the other hand, in water mochi cultivation and rock wool cultivation, which have been rapidly expanding their fields of use in recent years, seeds are placed in a predetermined number at a predetermined interval on a small-area seedling mat made of urethane foam, etc. The procedure is to germinate the seeds, grow them for a certain period of time, and then transplant the seedlings. However, even in this case, since the size and shape of the seeds vary widely, the work of loading the seeds has generally been done manually.

In particular, the importance of the role of roots in the growth and differentiation processes of crops, including the early stages of growth, has been recognized, and various strategies have been attempted to foster healthy roots. There are uses for plant growth regulators. Further, research has been conducted from a practical standpoint to conveniently control the growth differentiation of crops, and many plant growth regulators have been discovered. These growth regulators, whether natural or non-natural, are mostly low molecular weight organic compounds.
Generally very expensive. In addition, effective means to localize these growth regulators near seeds or seedlings for the necessary period of time have not been found, and their use has not been fully utilized. .

As mentioned above, in the conventional technology, even in the so-called plant factory format where seedlings are sown and raised using seedling mats or beds, the reality is that the sowing work is still carried out manually. However, there was also a lack of a means to effectively apply growth regulators during the seedling-raising period of crops.

Here, the above-mentioned water source permeable adhesive composition is an adhesive that has poor water resistance like an emulsion type adhesive and may allow water to gradually penetrate when it comes into contact with water for a long time. Alternatively, it can be obtained by preparing an adhesive composition in which a water-soluble or water-insoluble but hydrophilic polymer that easily permeates water is mixed into a water-insoluble adhesive. I can do it. Note that, if necessary, a plant growth regulator may be included in the above-mentioned pressure-sensitive adhesive or pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.

The size of seeds,
Regardless of the shape, a desired number of seeds can be easily mounted on a desired site on the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. That is, for example, when it is desired to mount seeds in dots on the adhesive sheet, an adhesive of a desired size and shape is applied to the desired area on the support, and the seeds are stuck onto the adhesive. Just let it happen. At this time, the size and shape of the adhesive coated part are determined in advance according to the size and shape of the seeds to be loaded. If it is desired to include a plant growth regulator in the adhesive, the plant growth regulator is added to the adhesive solution in advance before coating. In this case, it is desirable to change the composition of the adhesive depending on the characteristics (eg, hydrophilicity, hydrophobicity, etc.) of the growth regulator to be added.

Seeds are loaded onto the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet as follows. That is, after seeds are uniformly scattered on the adhesive-coated side of the adhesive sheet, the seeds are removed from areas other than the adhesive-coated area by an operation such as tilting the adhesive sheet. It is possible to obtain an adhesive sheet in which seeds are mounted only on the coated part. Alternatively, place the seeds evenly in a flat-bottomed container, cover with the above-mentioned adhesive sheet with the adhesive-coated side facing downward, and press it from above with a roller or the like, so that the seeds are placed only in the adhesive-coated area. A pasted adhesive sheet can be obtained. In this way, a desired number of seeds can be mounted on a desired site on the adhesive sheet by an extremely simple operation.

For germination and raising of seedlings, the adhesive sheet loaded with seeds as described above is placed on a seedling cloak or seedling bed and water is soaked into the sheet, or a water-soluble or water-dispersible adhesive sheet is further added onto the sheet. Germination and seedling growth can be achieved by covering the seeds with thin paper or by covering them with a small amount of soil and soaking them with water. At this time, the water-soluble or water-dispersible support and the water-soluble or water-dispersible thin paper covered as necessary absorb water and dissolve or disperse in the water, but the adhesive loaded with seeds As water gradually penetrates into the interior while maintaining its initial state in contact with the seeds, the growth tA binder contained in the adhesive dissolves near the roots of the seeds that have taken root, causing physiological It will show a activating effect. That is, when an adhesive with poor water resistance is used as an adhesive, water gradually penetrates into the adhesive if the adhesive is in contact with water for a long time. It is also non-hydrophilic.

When using an adhesive composition that is a mixture of a water-insoluble adhesive and a water-soluble or hydrophilic substance, phase separation occurs due to the lack of compatibility between the two, and the interface between the phases or the water-soluble phase Water will seep through. In this way, the growth regulator contained in the adhesive gradually dissolves.

Next, a method for preparing an adhesive solution and applying an adhesive will be explained. An emulsion type adhesive solution containing a growth regulator etc. can be easily obtained by adding a predetermined amount of a growth regulator etc. to an adhesive emulsion and stirring. Further, an emulsion-type adhesive liquid containing a water-soluble substance can be obtained by adding a predetermined amount of a water-soluble substance or an aqueous solution of a water-soluble substance to an adhesive emulsion and stirring the mixture. In this case as well, addition of growth regulators etc. may be carried out in the same manner as described above. In addition, a mixture of an organic solvent type adhesive and a water-soluble substance or a %N water-insoluble substance that is compatible with the adhesive can be prepared by adding a predetermined amount of the water-soluble substance or the water-insoluble substance to an organic solvent. It can be obtained by dissolving it in the above-mentioned organic solvent type adhesive. In this case, since the amount of the water-soluble or water-insoluble substance is small compared to the amount of the organic solvent-based adhesive, when a solution containing the substance is dropped while stirring the adhesive, the adhesive It is possible to obtain an adhesive solution in which the substance is dispersed.

The adhesive can be applied as follows. In other words, if the support is porous or fibrous, if the adhesive is applied directly onto the support, the peripheral area will bleed and the desired size and shape will not be obtained. A recommended method is to apply the coating onto a release liner, dry it, and then transfer it onto a support. A printing coating method is suitable as a method for coating dotted or streaky patterns.

The adhesive sheet thus obtained showed sufficient performance as a seed loading sheet, but when the adhesive dots were observed under magnification, as shown in Figure 2, it was found that acrylic, which is non-water soluble, It is known that phase separation occurs between the system adhesive and the water-soluble polymer polyvinyl isobutyl ether, resulting in the water-soluble polymer phase 4 being scattered in the form of islands within the water-insoluble adhesive phase 3. It was done. Further, when the sheet was impregnated with water and the changes in the dots were examined by fil-Q, it was observed that water was flowing into the dots via the water-soluble polymer phase 4.
