Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a head crush due to dispersion of a lubricant applied on a magnetic disk surface and to promote the reliability by providing a highmolecular absorber on the inner wall part of an enclosure. CONSTITUTION:The absorber 10 for absorbing oil and moisture is provided on the inner wall part of the enclosure 6 for a head disk assembly (HDA). In the magnetic disk device of a contact-start-stop system, the lubricant is applied on the surface of the magnetic disk 1 to protect the surface of the magnetic disk 1 from abrasion due to contact with a magnetic head 2. クラッシュを予防することができ、信頼性の高い磁気デ
ィスク装置を実現できる効果がある。
