Conventional technology Traditionally, straw has been used to protect seeds and seedlings by covering plants in the growing process to keep them cool and warm, suppress weeds, and prevent pests. However, it is easy to tie up and the work is complicated, so in recent years, so-called mulch film, a soft synthetic resin film with many round holes, is used to collect seeds sown in fields or seedlings grown from seeds in fields. Either the film was coated on top of the film or several sheets of film without round holes were coated with a gap formed therein. The above two methods achieve the objectives of keeping cool in the summer, keeping warm in the winter, and suppressing weeds and preventing pests and diseases, but on the other hand, they deteriorate and become brittle over time, and not only cannot they withstand long days. It had the disadvantage of poor air permeability, which caused plants to get wet, and also had the disadvantage that fertilizer and water did not penetrate uniformly into the soil.

Recently, a screen-like sheet for growing plants has appeared, which is made by knitting flexible belt-like bodies made of soft synthetic resin such as polyethylene into a screen-like screen using braided cords. This blind-shaped plant growth sheet does not deteriorate or become brittle over time, and also allows fertilizer and water to be evenly distributed and watered, keeping cool and warm, suppressing weeds, etc.
Although the purpose of preventing pest damage is achieved, there is a drawback that the upward growth of the plants is inhibited by the covering sheet during the plant growth process, and sufficient plant growth cannot be achieved.

Problems to be solved by the invention The invention is less prone to deterioration and brittleness due to use over time, is breathable, and allows fertilizer and water to be distributed evenly to the soil without causing swelling of the plants covered with the invention. It is sprayed, watered, and kept cold.
The purpose is to obtain a plant growth sheet that not only can sufficiently achieve the objectives of heat retention, weed suppression, and prevention of pests and diseases, but also allows sufficient plant growth to be obtained without inhibiting the upward growth of plants. That is.

As shown in FIG. 1, a large number of band-shaped bodies 11, 11, 11, . . . are formed of a soft synthetic resin such as soft polyethylene, or other flexible material that does not easily deteriorate and become brittle. The above-mentioned strips are arranged in parallel and are knitted together to form a plurality of rows of braided wires 12, 12, 12, . . . to form a sheet 20 knitted in a blind shape. The knitting means using the above-mentioned braided cord is a known knitting means, for example, the plain weave shown in FIG. 2 or the knitting method shown in FIG.
Alternatively, the knitted wires 12, 12, 12, . . . are formed using means such as ratchet knitting shown in FIG.

In FIG. 1, the sheets 20 arranged in a blind shape as described above are arranged at intervals l of seed sowing lines sown linearly in the field at regular intervals. A plurality of adjacent strips 11, 11, 11... between the 20 braided wires 12, 12.
..., respectively, cutting lines 13 in the direction orthogonal to them,
13, 13... are formed, and the length of the cut portion P formed by these cutting lines is about 10 cm, and the length of the portion Q of the uncut strips 11, 11... is about 3 cm.

Although the illustrated embodiment has been described above, the cutting line 13 does not necessarily have to be provided in a straight line in the direction orthogonal to the strip 11, and the cutting line 13 is provided in the strip 11 between the braided wires 12, 12. They may be formed individually, or may be provided on the band-like body 11 between arbitrary braided wires 12, 12. Also, the same braided wire 12,
A strip 11 without a cutting line 13 and a strip 1 with a cutting line 13 between the strips 11 and 12.
1 may be formed alternately one by one, or a single strip 11 without cutting line 13 and cutting line 1 may be formed.
In some cases, a plurality of belt-shaped bodies 11 provided with 3 are alternately formed. Furthermore, a plurality of strips 11 without cutting lines 13 and a plurality of strips 11 having cutting lines 13 may be alternately formed between the same braided wires 12, 12.

Function The sheet 20 is coated on the seeds in the field so that the cutting line 13 of the plant growth sheet of the present invention constructed as described above is located above the seed sowing line in the field. As shown in FIG. 6, during the growth of seeds and seedlings, temperature increases and decreases are prevented, the emergence and growth of weeds is suppressed, and damage caused by pests and diseases is also prevented. In addition, air circulation through the gaps between the strips 11, 11 of the sheet 20 and the cutting line 13 is improved, seeds and seedlings are held tightly, and fertilizer and water are evenly permeated into the soil. When the plant eventually grows and grows upwards, it can freely grow upwards from the cutting line 13 of the strip 11, as shown in FIG.

Because the present invention has the above-mentioned structure, it is less likely to deteriorate or become brittle after use for a number of days, and it is breathable, allowing fertilizer and water to be distributed uniformly without causing stuffiness on the plants covered with the present invention. Plant growth that not only can be sprayed and watered to sufficiently achieve the objectives of keeping cool, keeping warm, suppressing weeds, and preventing pests and diseases, but also allows sufficient plant growth to be obtained without inhibiting the upward growth of plants. This has the effect of making it possible to obtain sheets for use.
