としてコストアツプになるという問題があつた。

てコストダウン化と視覚的効果の向上との両立を

ラー中塗り塗膜層はボデーの中塗り塗膜層が湿つ
た状態で塗布形成されるので、ボデーにおける合
わせ面周辺部と他の部分との境目がぼかされて、
双方の色差を見掛け上可及的に小さくできること
になり、よつてボデーとプラスチツク部品との色
差が上記カラー中塗り塗膜層の介在によつて緩和
され、全体として見映えの良い外観仕上がりとな
る。

ントバンパ2は例えば硬質ウレタンをリアクシヨ
ンインジエクシヨンモールド(RIM)工法で所
定形状に成形してなり、その表面には第2図に示
すように、下塗り塗装による膜厚15μの下塗り塗
膜層3、中塗り塗装による膜厚35μの中塗り塗膜
層4、上塗り塗装による膜厚35μの上塗り塗膜層
5が順次積層形成されている。そして、上記上塗
り塗膜層5にはフロントボデー1の上塗り塗料と
同色の塗料(例えばピユアレツド)が用いられて
いる。

バンパ2との合わせ面周辺部A(図中、斜線で表
わした領域)に、上記フロントバンパ2の上塗り
塗膜層5と同色(ピユアレツド)の塗料で膜厚
10μのカラー中塗り塗膜層8を塗布形成する。そ
の後乾燥工程を経た後、さらにこのカラー中塗り
塗膜層8を含むフロントボデー1全面に美観の付
与と環境に対する耐久性を目的とした上塗り塗装
によつて膜厚35μの上塗り塗膜層9を塗布形成す

2の上塗り塗膜層5と同色(ピユアレツド)のも
のが用いられる。なお、上記カラー中塗り塗膜層
8の形成に際してはその膜厚が車体後方に漸次薄

わせ面周辺部Aと他の部分との境目がぼかされて
いることから、双方の色差を見掛け上可及的に小

トバンパ2とがカラーマツチングした見映えの良
