[Detailed Description of the Invention] A. Purpose of the Invention A. Industrial Field of Application This invention attempts to provide a stepped auger for a rotary snowplow having a novel configuration.

B. Conventional technology and problems As shown in Fig. 2, the diameter of the conventional auger 3 of the rotary snowplow 2 is uniform, and when the snow on the roadway 4 is removed, residual snow 6 remains on the sidewalk 5, and the third As shown in the figure, due to a blizzard or the like, snow 7 quickly accumulates on the roadway side, making it impossible to use the roadway 4 effectively.

B. Structure of the device A. Means for solving the problem The device of the present application reduces the diameter of the end of a conventional auger by an arbitrary length, and utilizes the difference in radius to create a stepped portion. This made snow removal possible. As a result, it has become possible to remove snow from roads with differences in level, such as roadways and sidewalks.
It is possible to reduce the spread of snow accumulation on the roadway due to blizzard, etc., and enable effective lane use.
In addition, at crosswalks, intersections, etc., snow is removed from the sidewalks to ensure visibility, making it possible to quickly check for pedestrians standing on the sidewalk and vehicles from intersecting lanes.

B. Embodiment of the invention As shown in Fig. 1, the diameter of the end of the auger 1 attached to the rotary snowplow 2 is reduced over an arbitrary length L, and an auger structure is formed with a large diameter Dl and a small diameter Ds,
One-half of this difference in diameter, or H = (Dl-Ds)/
By creating a height difference of 2 from the bottom of the auger to the road surface, it is possible to remove snow from a stepped area.

C. Effects of the invention As mentioned above, conventional rotary snowplows
As shown in the figure, remaining snow 6 on the sidewalk 5 after snow removal
Due to the large number of winds 8, snow quickly accumulates on the roadway 4, but according to the proposed method, as shown in Figure 4, there is less residual snow 9 on the sidewalk 5 that remains after snow removal, and the wind 8 causes snow to accumulate on the road 4. Snow accumulating on road 4 10
This is much less snow than when removing snow with a rotary snowplow equipped with a conventional auger, and the roadway can be used more effectively. In addition, by removing snow from the sidewalk,
As shown in the figure, when a pedestrian 11 stands on the sidewalk 5 at a crosswalk, etc., the pedestrian 11 can see the traveling vehicle from a safer position than before, and the driver can also walk faster than before. person can be confirmed. In addition, when removing snow from an intersection as shown in Figure 6, the remaining snow 9 can be reduced by removing snow from the sidewalk 5 as well.
This eliminates the possibility of lingering on the edge of the roadway, improving visibility and ensuring safe traffic.
