- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ルーフに形成された開口部をルーフパネルによ
つて覆う車両用サンルーフにおいて、 該ルーフパネルは、相対向する一対の透明基板
と該透明基板の周縁部に配置されたスペーサとで
形成されるセルと、該透明基板の一方の内側表面
全域に設けられた透明の全面電極層と、該透明基
板の他方の内側表面にストライプ状またはメツシ
ユ状に設けられた部分電極層と、該セルに封入さ
れた透光性を有する絶縁性液体からなる分散媒と
、該分散媒中に分散保持された透光性を有しない
帯電性粒子と、からなる電気泳動表示素子で構成
されていることを特徴とする車両用サンルーフ。
