PURPOSE:To facilitate backup by leading DC power produced through automatic starting of the engine of an automobile parked in a garage into the house through a cable and a connector upon interruption of household power, and subjecting the DC power to DC/AC conversion through an inverter. CONSTITUTION:A household power interruption monitor 9, a DC/AC inverter 11 and an automobile controller 10 are arranged in a house. Connector 5 of an automobile 1 is connected through a cable 6 with the automobile controller 10. Upon detection of household power interruption through the monitor 9, engine 3 of the automobile 1 put in a garage is started automatically through the automatic controller 10 and DC output of a generator 4 is fed through the connector 5, the cable 6 and the automobile controller 10 to the DC/AC inverter 11 where it is converted into AC power and distributed to household machinery 12. By such arrangement, a backup device can be provided at a low cost.

つあり、端末の電力を従来のように電話局から供給を受
けるだけで、は十分な機能の実現が困難であり、このた
め、停電時の非常用の電力確保が重要な問題となってき
ている。これに対し、日本の住宅事情、費用等を考慮す
ると場所を取らずにしかも経済的なバックアップ用の電
源供給システムの確保が早急に望まれる。

備の必要がある。すなわち、かかる方式は高価な発電機
を備える必要があり、また発電機又は電池を設置する場
所を特別に用意しなければならない等の欠点がある。ま
た、従来の発電機において小型のものは、多くの場合自
動的には起動できず、起動するためには人力で行なうか
、又はそのような機能を備える必要がある。しかも、こ
れらの発電機又は電池の日常的な保守は、一般家庭にと
って非常に面倒な仕事になるという欠点がある。

か、ら供給された電力を直流から交流へ変換するインバ
ータ回路と、前記自動車制御装置からの起動信号を受信
し、この起動信号を受信したときに前記エンジンの起動
を自動的に行なうエンジン起動装置と、前記エンジンと
自動車に搭載された発電機によって発電された電力をケ
ーブルおよびコネクタを介して自動車の外部に供給する
手段とを備え、停電時電力のバックアップを行うように
構成される。

は電柱7の柱上トランス8から電源ケーブルで引込み、
停電を監視する宅内停電監視装置9と、この監視袋W9
からの停電指示情報により自動車1のエンジン起動装置
2を起動するための制御を行なう自動車制御装置10と
、監視装置9に接続されるとともに、自動車1から得ら
れる直流電力を自動車制御装置10を介して受電して交
流電力へ変換するDC/AC変換回路11とを備え、自
動車1を電源ケーブル6により接続し発電された電力を
宅内の非常用電源を必要とする機器へ供給することによ
り停電時においても宅内機器12をバックアップできる
ようにしたものである。

制御を行なうようにしである。

給する手段とを備え、停電時電力のバックアップを行う
ことを特徴とする家庭用停電バックアップシステム。
