[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a connector for electrically separating and connecting devices and units of various electronic devices.

A conventional connector is formed by caulking and fixing a covered lead wire 6 to a terminal 2, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, and housing the required number of terminals 2 with lead wires in a case 1.

As is well known, the coated lead wire does not have a coating layer fixed to the conductive wire, but simply covers the conductive wire with the coating layer. Therefore, if the length of the covered lead wire is short, when the covering layer at both ends of the lead wire is peeled off to expose the conductive wire, a necessary portion of the covering layer may also come off from the conductive wire.

Therefore, there is a limit to how short the lead wires used in the connector can be, and they may be forced to be longer than necessary.

Even something as trivial as the length of the lead wire can hinder the miniaturization of products, which is one of the most important development goals for electrical products.

Furthermore, in the past, manual work was required to insert the terminal 2 to which the covered lead wire was connected into the case 1, which was inefficient. Furthermore, in the past, processing on the lead wires, such as shorting some of the lead wires together, was difficult due to the presence of a coating layer and the lack of directionality in bending the lead wires, making it impossible to stably support them. .

One possible way to solve the above problem is to form the terminal 2 and the strip-shaped conductor 3 integrally, as shown in FIG. However, in this case, considering that the expanded terminal 2 and the strip-shaped conductor 3 are formed by punching out the metal plate 5, as shown by the two-dot chain line, the yield of the material is poor, and this is not a good idea.

The technical problems to be solved by this invention are to be able to keep the number of conductors protruding from the terminals to the necessary minimum, to be able to insert the required number of terminals with conductors protruding into the case at once, It is possible to easily process the conductor, improve the yield of the material, and improve the flexibility for wiring by forming the conductor so that it is easy to bend.

In order to solve the above technical problem, the connector of the present invention forms each conductor into a strip shape, connects all the conductors together by connecting one end of each conductor to a connecting piece, and connects all the conductors as one body to the case side of the conductor. Narrow part 3 at the proximal end of

The free end of each conductor is fixed to the terminal by caulking, and the terminals are lined up in a row, allowing multiple terminals to be inserted into the case at once, increasing work efficiency.

Next, by separating the connecting piece leaving only the required length of each conductor, each conductor can be freely connected to a mating member, and the length of the conductor can be kept to the minimum necessary.

Since the conductor is formed in a band shape, there is a certain degree of directionality in the bending direction, and the conductor can be stably supported, especially before the connecting plate is separated, so that it can be easily processed into a conductor. However, since the base end portion of the band-shaped conductor 3 is formed narrowly, it is easily bent and wiring is facilitated.
